My classes are pretty challenging! I always feel like this time of year nearing finals is when things start revving up and becoming a lot!

02.02.22
— day 9/50
today:
had data analytics lecture and lab class
my groupmates and I decided to accomplish the task for DA lab within the day even if it's due for next week/still doesn't have a due date
attended a webinar on the topic of importance of respiratory care in the pandemic by our department chairperson
study discord night with friends + the little one, Ollie
advanced studied/made notes for tomorrow's cardiopulmo class (it's 2am already and so I plan on continuing this esp w researching terminologies and etc before the first class tomorrow)
Today's pretty satisfying, the date. 2222, haha, kind of can't wait for the 22nd for another 2. Tomorrow's Thursday and as usual, Thursdays' the heaviest day of the week for me with 4 classes from 8am-7:30pm, but we will power through because after Thursday, we have 3 whole days for rest and studying (more of studying and chores, really)
Forgot to add this on yesterday's post but I hope everyone would have a lovely February 🤍

February. Already? Took long enough. Far too early.
Just about halfway through the term and I can feel it, the clock winding down. Much time left, not enough. Life is full of syncopations; pieces snap into place just as I knew they would, others are lost to the wind and whim of outside forces. Have both everything and nothing under control. Have both everything and nothing to lose. Time passes, things happen, tea fuels me through it all. When I pull this off - and it is a when not if, I can feel it and it is a when - it will be exactly what I hoped. The only challenge is the process of getting there.

Day 68/100...
Looking at Recursion in other programming languages to see how they compare and if it's easier to understand.
Leyendo otras lenguajes de programación para ver(?) cómo se compraran y si es màs facil de entender.
P.S: Feel free to correct me and I appreciate you if you do. Thank you🤍
day 9/10 & 10/10 finals preparation
day 4/5 & day 5/5 of finals
finals week is done !!
kind of too early to celebrate since our biochemistry professor didn't give our exam + remaining lectures we had for finals and so our finals exam for the subject is due on the 13th... i plan to finish the exam this weekend to enjoy my sembreak, hahaha
been very busy these past days, with parents sick, I'm standing in for my mom again, kind of freelancing for my sister as her assistant with work and I've been finishing off piled tasks here at home
can't quite remember what went on the last 2 days of finals week but I was able to cover everything I needed to study for cardiorespi anaphy and fundamentals - using my free time before exams to watch videos for frt.
kind of disappointed with myself with how I handled myself for this finals. I let myself be very anxious and stressed out when I used to not stress as much, making notes and reviewers in advanced, just do my best and get rest when I need to. I think it may be because I wasn't able to squeeze in as much study time that I needed to during the holiday break, being idle for more than 3 days after christmas resulting to me starting to be lazy, haha. and I... may have been sleeping at 4am mostly during exam week and have done unnecessary studying leading to that sleep time because of how anxious I was.
anywho, it's all over and for now I'll give my best effort for biochemistry finals as well as taking care of my family + do some advance study for second sem and continue language studies (i have no idea where to get all the energy i need for these but ... yes)

[ 09 07 2021 ]
Hi everyone!! It’s been a while, and I’ve missed this community so much. A lot has happened since I was last here - I got into my top choice grad school, turned 22, finished my thesis project, graduated from undergrad, and moved to NYC!! I start classes for my masters program in Performing Arts Administration tomorrow, which is both terrifying and very exciting, especially because my classes are in person for the first time since March 2020 (everyone’s vaccinated at my university, and we still have to wear masks anyway). I had some reading to get done in preparation for my first class, so here’s a bit of my notes from that reading - it’s from a book about how to approach reading, writing, analysis, and research in grad school, hence the titles and categories. I’m not going to jinx myself by saying anything about how often I’ll be online here because every time I do, I never actually follow through on my promise. So instead I’ll just say, I’m excited for a fresh start in a new program at a new school, and I hope I’ll be able to bring some of that energy into my studyblr as well : )
I certainly have a lot to update in my blog bio, so maybe I’ll write a new intro post to reintroduce this blog as a gradblr?
Anyway, as always, please feel free to send me an ask about literally anything studyblr-related; I’m happy to help with anything I can : )
