We can only live for as good and as long as we are permitted, and in this world of betrayal and uncertainties, it is considered good fortune, if not luck, to have someone whom you can cherish and be your constant. Meeting under typical circumstances and starting as acquaintances, we both never expected that there's more to us that would be unveiled in our later lives. Our friendship, which continues to evolve as time goes by, may not be as perfect as one may expect, yet we are proud that what we have is one of a companionship whose roots dig deeper, as we grow and thrive in our endeavors. We may have different attitudes, behaviors, and personalities, but our differences complement and supplement what we lack in ourselves and what we still need to learn as individuals. Our experiences, the good and the bad, the best and the worst, mirror the journey that we had to go through and made us who we are today: closest confidantes who are both independent, willful dreamers.
