8 Tips for Having a Low Stress Life
1. Simplify – your time, your stuff, your social life.
2. Live in the moment.
3. Practice gratitude.
4. Take control of the thoughts that pull you back into the past.
5. Stop the anxious thoughts about “what’s next”, and of your future.
6. Practice getting comfortable with saying “no”.
7. Don’t worry about others, and what they think of you.
8. Do your best, then relax, and avoid perfectionism.
Attitudes that Lead to Success
1. Remember that you are the driver of your life. You choose your goals and your attitudes.
2. Look for the positives, and ways to overcome the challenges and obstacles you meet along the way.
3. Notice the strengths and positives in others. We all appreciate when other people say kind things.
4. It’s hard to stay stressed if you’re also being thankful. So cultivate an attitude of gratitude.
5. Find your passion and your “why” - and then invest your energy in reaching for some dream that makes you feel fully alive.
6. Refuse to let the negatives of others wear you down, or undermine your passion, or make you change your course.
Some mushrooms from a pair of pants I’ve been working on
to anyone struggling w depression:
you are not worthless. you are deserving of love, care, and time. you deserve to feel passion, feel good things again. I promise it won't always be this bad- or apathetic.
The purpose of life is not to become something. From the very moment that you are born, you already are something - you are everything. You are everything you need to be and you have so much potential inside of you. At any stage of your life, you will always be something, my love. You do not have to be in certain relationships, graduate from university, find a well-paying job or fulfill any other ‘requirements’ to be a worthy human being. No matter what, you will always have value.
