My great grandma is staying with us for the summer and forgot her hat back home so I made her one. She is very happy with it, I am equally as happy to report :)
I'd rather be in outer space đž

Making a sort of sensory leaflet for my tiny niece with scraps from mine and my mother's projects. Don't know how many pages I will make but hey, here's the first 2.
Iâm dead đ
New project underway ! (Non, j'ai pas fini ceux déjà en train... et?)
Inspo :
Adding a row of grannysquares for... breathability? See-through-ness? Fashion.
Of course I don't have a pattern, I am, as usual, winging it.
I'm back working in the nearby cloister where I have an excessive amount of time for this activity in between visitors so I'm hoping to have this one finished by the end of the month or maybe mid July. Will update.
THE MATH IS MATHING!!
Calculated where the armholes go, where the fold goes in the front and the math is correct. This is a rare occurrence for me.
Now onto knitting the maths.
Recently made these.
The red scarf is still underway, the goal is finished by Christmas. It's June. We'll be fine.

Starting something new and because I am riddled with hybris I'm using a size 2,5 yarn with 3mm needles on a 4mm pattern. I never make a gauge but I figured it might put the knitting gods on my side. Maybe. Fingers crossed.
So far so good (dropped 5 stitches with no consequence and 1 stitch that unraveled over 4 rows :) )
First skein done.
Back is done. Decreasing the front. Half way through it and already off count by 6 stitches.
Nope, I'm just an idiot misreading the pattern the exact same wrong way I misread it for the back piece last week. Carrying on.
Update!
That was yesterday :
And that's today :
All done. Need to tweak the seams a bit, it's a tad tight at the underarm. I'll get to it. One day.
"Keeping pattern correct" I'm trying, babe, I'm trying so hard.

Suffering from success đ (the first dragon was such a hit with my friend's family they asked me to make another one for one of the kids)
Just made a phone call to the regional archives and I didn't even stutter once. Who is she? Where does she get all that confidence?
Hier soir, 23h30, j'ai décidé de relever 180 mailles sur une laine foncée avec pour seule expérience le souvenir d'une vidéo tuto vue il y a 4 mois. Hybris ou girlboss, le temps nous le dira.
Trust the process. Because lord knows we don't have a pattern. The process is all we have.
Unfortunate shape.
I swear it will be a dragon!!
She's done!
Ain't she the cutest?
