Standing up after his talk with Coach he felt a bit weird.

Light headed and a bit out of it, like he'd just woken up but he hadn't taken a nap.

No, he'd been talking with his Owner and planning his new life as his Owned hockey Jock.

So the Jock just shook his head and told himself to snap out of it as he headed stepped forward and asked his Owner if he wanted his Jock to change now or after they got home.

He arrived at your office at exactly the right time. On schedule. Like clockwork.

He signed into the office with the secretary, used your full name, to avoid any confusion, and politely declined any further requests or hospitality. He placed himself and waited patiently in the central meeting room for the whole office to see. He enjoyed this part.

When you saw him your heart stopped a beat - before instinct pushed you into action. You told your assistant that you ‘forgot you had a lunchtime meeting with a very, very important client’ and to ‘block the calendar for the rest of the day’. You swore, cursed the secretary for not alerting you sooner as you looked at the clock and closed the door to your office, your team, and whatever you had foolishly planned for the day. Flustered, you walked into the room where he was waiting for you. Patiently. Silently. Calm.

He turned and took one look at you and knew exactly what had occurred. Exactly what effect his impromptu visit had caused, the disruption and questions for you to answer to tomorrow. It was non of his concern, of course, but it certainly made things sweeter.

He smiled. He stood up and shook your hand with black leather gloves underneath his suit.

“You’re late.”

The contract we made sure you read each and every line of before signing, because we needed to make sure you understood just what would happen if you didn’t give us your 100%. The contract you had no way out of.

You might be thinking ‘it’s not my fault’ or ‘the rest of the team….’ but that is where you are wrong. They didn’t have the weight of the deal on their shoulders - only you did. Our sponsors were VERY clear about that. Or did you forget the reason why you were given all that extra support and uniform?

Now, now. Shhh. There is one clause that we can use to make sure that everything can be fixed. You probably don’t even remember reading it, do you?

They’ll be here for their collection any moment now.

The good news is - once they’re finished, once they have reclaimed what has been lost, you and I both know that this will never happen again. Well - that is unless you reveal that, deep down, you’ve been enjoying yourself this entire time.
