I hope that you never have to feel like the person you love is texting somebody else good morning and good night. Because it's crushing.

If you get that gut feeling that something isn’t right about a person or situation, trust it.

Can anybody offer advice...
Can someone tell me how I can cope with this feeling. Because it's right there in the pit of my stomach all the time now. My best friend from 14-25 (I'm 28 now)'s Mum has passed away. She was a huge part of my childhood and I'm overwhelming saddened at the news she's passed away. But on top of that I have this urge to help the best friend that I have drifted apart from over the past couple of years. I can't stand the thought of her suffering like I know she must be. I guess I still think of it as my responsibility to support her but I know that it isn't really.
I think I might have broken my finger reblogging this.

I say I don’t want to talk about it. Actually, I do, but I’m afraid of your reaction. I’m afraid you’ll never see me as an equal again. I’m afraid of the pity in your eyes when you realise how screwed up I am.

I get way too sensitive when I get attached to someone. I can detect the slightest changed in the tone of their voice, and suddenly I’m spending all day trying to figure out what I did wrong.

If nothing else, one day you can look someone straight in the eyes and say ‘But I lived through it. And it made me who I am today.’
Iain Thomas, I Wrote This For You (via wordsnquotes)
I'm just upset by everything you know. I've been through some awful things and I honestly didn't think that I'd ever be okay again. I waited so long time to find you and I just started to feel okay and then this happens. Just doesn't really feel fair. I can't understand how one day you can want me and the next you're not so sure. How one day you were saying "when we get married" and now you're saying "if we get married". You used to call me up drunk and say "you know you're going to have to marry me don't you?!" And I'd feel frightened but in a good way, in a 'can I be the wife this man deserves way' to the point where I wasn't even sure that I wanted it. But now it feels like it's been taken away I can't think of anything but how much I want it back.
The conversation between your fingers and someone else’s skin. This is the most important discussion you can ever have.

How sad is it that someone can fuck you up so badly that you can’t believe that anyone would want to be with you.
I wish people could just say how they feel like ‘Hey I really don’t like when you do that to me’ or ‘Hey I’m in love with you’ or ‘Hi I really miss you and I think about you all the time’ without sounding desperate. Why can’t everyone be painfully honest and just save people the trouble.
