Title: One Secret Sip

When I was a kid, soda felt special.

It wasn’t something I could drink anytime. So when I finally got one, I wanted to enjoy it slowly… and maybe not share it with anyone.

That’s the idea behind this illustration.

A little boy hides beside a vending machine, holding his cold soda like it’s the most important thing in the world.

It’s a small moment, but I think many of us remember this kind of childhood happiness.

I haven’t uploaded any artwork for a while because I’ve been a bit busy, but I still love painting as much as ever.

“Warmer than the Coffee in His Hand”

A sip of rich flavor, and a warmth you can hold onto.

Tried something different for this piece and painted it entirely in ArtStudio Pro.

I wasn’t expecting much — just wanted to test the brushes — but the texture actually turned out really nice.

The oil-paint feel and the softness of the strokes were a pleasant surprise.

When Life Was Slower, and Kinder

I’ve always felt that painting is a way to hold on to time. In my world, there’s no rush, no noise— only people, and the quiet warmth between them.

I paint nostalgia not to chase the past, but to remember what being human feels like. A soft light, a worn couch, steam rising from a pot— little moments that remind us: life was once slower, and maybe kinder.

To me, nostalgia is rest for the heart. When the world gets too loud, I hope my paintings give you a pause— a breath of stillness, a touch of warmth, a reminder that kindness and memory still matter.

It’s been a little over three weeks since my last piece.

This one took a bit longer, partly because I spent some time just wrestling with the concept and getting the sketch to feel right.

Once the idea clicked, I dove into the painting... and got caught up in all the little things: the lighting on the faces, the expressions, the folds in the clothes, they all took longer than I thought.

But I hope all that time and detail help the image connect with you.

but I also wanted him to leap off the canvas, alive with subtle motion and emotion.
