I’m doing a small thanksgiving-themed giveaway! I’m so very thankful for all the support I get, and have gotten in the past… I think it’s only fair if I try my best to maybe help someone else on that road, if that makes sense at all. While I do not personally use Clip Studio Paint, it has been a wonderful tool for many for all sorts of purposes. I will give the winner the activation code to a copy of CSP I’ve purchased!

Sorry. And not that those funds were misused, I underestimated.

I’ve already made the mortgage payment for February, that’s taken care of. The credit cards can default until I pass the boards in February. So can the trash and electric. Shut-offs aren’t new to me. What cannot shut off is the heat, water, the low interest CC, and I tried calling the mortgage servicer and will try calling again tomorrow for the deferment but I don’t know if they’ll even work with me given I’m on the ‘native’ loan contract.

The bare minimum for living expenses in February are:

$130 Natural Gas (can provide proof)

$120 electric

$95 water/sewer

Preventing my pipes from freezing and bursting, thought I’d ask. The biggest concern for me is the natural gas, given they’re keener to shut off in the winter than the electric company. I can live my life dressed in 6 layers, I’m Inuit, it’s the flooding I can’t do; the gas vents to my basement and keeps the pipes warm. In the case that failed I’d use the electric and run up a $300 bill to keep a heater directed at my intake pipe running just like I did two years ago. Not fun.

I’m just trying to survive until I have two weeks on my new job as a mother baby nurse because I’m just waiting to be able to take the damn NCLEX.
