What’s difficult about idol life?  "Difficult.. about idol life,” Jeongguk’s head fell to the side, his gaze focused on a random area towards the ceiling. “There’s nothing exactly difficult about it, it’s just a lot of hard work. Like.. it takes up a lot of your time, you won’t have much freedom to go see your family or friends because of the constant schedules one after the other-- if you’re not in a schedule then you would be prepping for one.” The male paused as he returned his gaze towards the cameras during his comment. “I think, the most, would be not being able to be out in the open without someone trying to follow you or catch your attention.”

What is something you’re filled with?  The question had already caused a wide smile on the youngest’s features, his teeth showing once the corner of his eyes began to crinkle. “Energy? Compared to the rest of the members, I have the most energy. They usually get tired out or worn down, but I tend to still be bouncing.. like a maniac... Like they could be calm during filming while I’m jumping up and down without a second thought, talking about this or doing this-- it’s embarrassing, really. Maybe it’s just because of my young age.”

What’s your charm point?  “I believe my charm point is biggest when I’m on the stage. The staff members always dress me up really well and ARMY say that I have a strong presence when I’m performing.” A slight chuckle fell past his lips towards the simple thought of how quickly his overall impression changes when lights shine on him. “Off stage.. Hyungs would say that I’m cute. In interviews, they talk about how I’m like a puppy without a collar, so I guess that means I’m just lovable overall.”

What do you like to do in your free time?  "Not long ago, I used to play video games a lot like Overwatch! Or.. I would go out bowling alone and with some friends, I even tried out boxing.. Sometimes I think I have a hard time figuring out what I want to do in my free time since I don’t have a lot. I constantly pick up new things only to drop them a few months later after trying so hard to be really good at it. I still haven’t found that singular thing that gets me the most entertained. Although, I did pick up drawing and painting again! So far it’s going well, but I’m not too sure about it.”

The idol whose looks you envy the most?  "I don’t really envy anyone? I haven’t exactly thought of that since looks aren’t something I’m too big on. If I really had to pick..” Jeongguk paused for a few moments, a hand running over the back of his neck with a strange sound falling off his vocal cords as if he wasn’t sure who to pick. “I’d choose my member Taehyungie. He has a lot of sharp visuals that are appealing to me. I’m sure a lot of my members would agree on that.”

If you were born again, would you want to be famous?  "I don’t care if it’s famous or not, I’d just want to be with Bangtan Sonyeondan-ie and the Big Hit staff. They mean the world to me, so I couldn’t be asking for anything else.”

     Did they have time to do this anymore? The two of them have been dating for who knows how long and yet couldn’t find the time of day to spend together due to more than heavy schedules that pressed against their shoulders plenty enough. He was growing more popular with sights in different countries looking out for him and the group he resided with. God, did he miss her. The female placed within a different company and far different concept and audience than he but they still seemed to click with the similar interests discovered so quickly upon the first accidental conversation. It was then the company of his own gave a break that will last nothing longer than a week due to an elder’s filmed mixtape music video and Jeongguk couldn’t wait to take the chance to see her once more before spending the summer in a different country- not even the time to speak to her with phone.

     A date as simple as this forced upon a smile to his thin lips so easily. Their fingers were laced together, arms brushing with free hands caring shoes that previously protected feet from being coated with sand as they were now, but they didn’t seem to care. All they cared for was the cold winds that pressed up against their cheeks and the warmth that was provided from fingers that refused to let go any time soon-- no matter any possible chances of getting caught by who knows what. It was perfect after what seemed to be a lengthy amount of time ( truly only a few months ) away from one another with short texts of good night and have a great day. It wasn’t enough, not enough like how they were now.

     “Baby,” male spoke out with wisps of a soft voice within the breezes that surrounded him. Jeongguk was never once to express emotions so given like the one that resided next to him in the current moment but the words that would soon fall past his tongue seemed needed in the situation and had been something stuck in his throat the moment they said goodbye. “I..” He stuttered, taking a quick gulp with a short glance towards younger before shifting back to his own feet that dug in the sand as they continued to walk beside the shore. “I l.. love you.” Never before had those words slipped off the pink muscle and it seemed so foreign yet caused shivers and warmth in his body and a covered smile.

« Maybe since you and Jimin have become definitely unreliable with your yapping. » And he needed a break indeed from the continuous practicing. He felt pretty much some form of pain hitting his chest just like Jiho would describe his heart aches –but of course, the Daegu rapper’s sufferings were one tenth of what the close friend has to go through on a daily.

Nonetheless, Yoongi wanted a pause, even if tiny–a slight smirk on his lips, eyes almost catlike when narrowing to pierce the maknae’s face. « Or perhaps I feel rather benevolent toda –you still haven’t told me your response. »

     "With our yapping?” the younger questioned, tilting his head off to the male with a rather confused look, the movements of his body stopping from following the current beat of the music. Jeongguk honestly didn’t have a lot to say in situations like these but the elder male was never one to truly like the practices on end despite the required parts of it to be giving a better performance and to be recognized but people from around the world, people they were always inspired from to be where they are now and to make music.

     Jeongguk took a few steps closer to the other before sitting himself in front of him, reaching for the water bottle and taking a quick waterfall swish, not really taking care to his currently sweaty state of hair sticking to the skin of his forehead and temples. “What was the question again?” he questioned, nearly admitting that he wasn’t paying attention at all before during the beats of the speakers, his ears flushing red.

”I wasn’t hogging all the popcorn,” he retorts, nodding his head in the direction of the floor where all the popcorn he had been throwing at Jungkook had landed. He giggles again. “It’s not my fault you didn’t catch them, Jungkookie.” It was nice to be able to go out with Jungkook even if their date had to be passed off as something less than. It sucked, but they were together and that was really all that mattered to him in the end. If they had to, he would have been content with curling up with the male on the couch and watching movies there. That would have just as good as a first date as this. “Really,” he assures him, nodding his head. The hint of a smile that makes its way onto Jungkook’s lips makes Jimin’s stomach do a flip. It has been doing that a lot lately, it didn’t matter if the other was smiling at him, talking to him or even just looking at him. The kiss comes to him as a surprise, and when the male pulls away, he can feel his cheeks heating up and turning red. He wondered just how long the other was going to be capable of getting him flustered so easily. “Yeah?” he questions, genuinely curious. He gives his hand a little squeeze, biting down on his lip to keep himself from smiling too big. Park Jimin was weak for him without a matter of doubt.

     The sudden kiss was, in no doubt, a surprise to the younger male as well. His cheeks were flushing a dark pink-red color if it wasn’t already a visible red despite the area around them being majorly dark for the ongoing movie. What movie were they watching again? Was it a documentary? He didn’t know nor could he really understand what was going on within the movie due to the different language and lack of subtitles. All he cared for was the elder male beside him that caused his heart to do all of these flips and his stomach making turns with that gentle butterfly feeling in the pits of his abdomen. It was strange really, on how so easily the other could get him in such a state because nonetheless, he was weak for Park Jimin too. 

     Jeongguk took a soft breath, it now becoming more steady and soft before taking another glance at the male beside him. “Can we pick a more interesting movie at least next time then?” the younger teased with a soft smile. “I don’t understand this one at all, hyung. Is it meant to be about the animals or those aliens?”

Yoongi’s health was never at the best to begin with –let alone when tension would basically grow to the point to make breathing the same air as those other six idiots ( because lately they all were a bunch of idiots, let’s be honest ) extremely hard and forcing him to take an abrupt leave from the place immediately. And could he be blamed for this? Of course not. Could he be side eyed at for asking some clearance, some actual mature behavior from people that weren’t teens anymore? No, definitely. What else could he do if his mental health was still trash to begin with?

Be patient, perhaps. But patience just didn’t happen to be Yoongi’s forte as of late.

His step would barely echo, as light as his figure was ( too light, almost malnourished, because of all those nights spent working and with coffee not exactly being the best food surrogate ), contrasting so much with the thump of the younger’s boots –a gaze shifting to pay attention to that trembling mess supposed to be words coming from a familiar mouth barely concealed by a fringe growing longer, a woolen hat and a face mask shoved to delete even more those features Min Yoongi was known to have. it was necessary, when moving, to become bland, anonymous, undetectable. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t.

« Perhaps. » The only response first given –the rapper’s figure a ghost in the shell, a head looking up before the typical bluntness of the patron saint of Daegu would just plummet down in between them. Time to stop with the little games. « You know what could help? You giving me a damn explanation of what happened, ‘guk-ah. »

     Jeongguk was far too focused on their silent steps, his not being so quiet with the soft thuds it made upon hitting the gravel of the empty street the two were walking on alone. Clearly, the two were lost in their own thoughts and worries as the space around them fell silent for barely a few moments, his breath becoming soft and steady with each step they took to tie well with the growing comfortably the maknae was finding within himself, at least until the elder’s next comment caused him to freeze despite the movement of his legs. The sudden feeling of pressure filled within his veins once again and he truly didn’t know what to do besides follow, the thick silence forcing his head to pound so loudly with a painful sting at each thought.

                “Ah.. Hyung..”

     The younger paused once more with his gaze dropping down to the movement of his feet against the dark road. He didn’t know where to start besides the fact that he and another elder within the group weren’t exactly on the best terms due to a previous situation, but how could he explain such a thing to the male beside him? It made his heart pound at the thought of how he would react or even the thought process that could have possibly run through Yoongi’s head, his breath leaving the sudden soft pace it was originally located at to become that of a stutter, the sound obvious through the silence that filled the space between,

     “Well, you see,” he began to speak after a few brief moments, his voice rather softer than usual. “Jiminnie hyung and I.. We aren’t getting along so well is all.” Jeongguk started to shuffle his feet slightly as they neared the company building more, the sight already becoming visible to the two of them. “I don’t.. know how to explain it or if he would be comfortable with me telling you, hyung. I don’t even understand it.”

     Quick steps against the puddles of raindrops had led the young male from the high school building close to a cafe on the way home. He truly didn’t expect the sudden downpour despite the fact that his mother had warned him plenty of times this morning to bring some sort of umbrella or form of external wear, but it seemed far too sunny outside to do any of those things and he couldn’t hope but for the early spring day to bring him warmth after the ages of walking in snow. It was too late now to have any regrets due to the formation of his stuttered breath that echoed like smoke in the cold air of Seoul, even his body giving light shivers at the wet uniform clinging to his body like an unwanted toxin. Jeongguk’s hair was already plenty soaked and stuck to his forehead as if he had just gotten out of physical ed, even though the male had turned down the option for that class for music instead-- something he had been dreaming of for ages.

     With squeaks of his uniform shoes from the outdoor wetness sticking to the bottom, the male made his way into the cafe to place himself in a seat away from the other familiar faces he didn’t want to affiliate himself with since the male was well known for often keeping to himself without even the clear thought of a friend. He was weird. No one liked him anyway because all he could ever manage to give was a shy smile and a brush of his shoulder before leaving again, though everyone seemed to take interest in his strange knowledge for certain things. No one really knew him besides the scars and broken bones that his fingers currently consisted of without understanding why such a quiet boy such as he would receive them from. It sure as hell wouldn’t be from the constant hours he spent sitting at various sizes of pianos or other classical and traditional Korean instruments. Jeongguk had already preoccupied himself while waiting on a waiter or waitress to head his way, his dark orbs tracing over those very marks on his hands with regret and agitation on how he allowed such damage to take place. He needed them more than anything to finish an incomplete piece of a music score, but it hurt too much to move them and the best the young junior could do was wrap them in white bandages and used popsicle sticks to keep everything aligned the way they originally would.

     After a few moments, one of the waiters-- or assumed to be-- had approached him, apologizing for their lack of staff and that he would be pleased to take his order for him. Jeongguk didn’t glance up towards the other for a few moments and just stayed in silence. The voice seemed oddly too familiar but he couldn’t place his finger on it, instead reaming frozen until the male beside him gave him a quick nudge in wonder if he was still living. Upon the touch, the high school student looked up and created eye contact with the man that had inspired him to do so many things and encouraged him to get to the point he is currently. Jeongguk’s heart was pounding so loud in his chest to the point his breathing becoming more stuttered and his eyes became wider than before as they stood there in silence. He didn’t know what to do or how to react since the one before him had so questioningly fell off the side of the earth with more than enough incomplete classical piano music, aching the younger to know where they are and why he had stopped creating such masterpieces and wasting the talent he had inside his head. 

     “S- .. Sanggil... S-S.. Sunbaenim...?” he spoke out softly, noticing how the other was heading another direction to leave the male, not wanting to waste the chance of meeting the man and finally getting his question answered. “Sunbae?”

     Jeongguk always had a habit scrolling through various news and fandom blogs of him, his group, and even his friends to see what was going on in order to support comebacks and whatever scandal that had popped up. He was just one to remain updated with every little thing going on so he wouldn’t be left behind in the topics. And so, with the extra time before the Music Bank performances, the young male had planted himself onto the couch with the slim device in his hand to scroll through whatever blogs he could think of. Oddly enough one of the first ones he managed to go through after his own, was that of a close friend of his and her group, he being quick enough to catch on an accessory he had long given her just a few days ago. 

     A small smile approached his lips before getting up from his seat and sneaking off to the said’s makeup room to find her, too, scrolling through her phone despite not being dressed in the correct stage attire. “Ah, Yerimmie,” he spoke out softly with a small flick to the glasses’ arm, the smile on his lip extending more.

     All the other members were too busy working on their own things or attending other events and schedules by themselves, others even heading off to the rented practice room together. But here they were, the youngest and eldest stuck in the hotel room with not much to do besides sitting with one another in the thick silence that became strangely bothersome. 

     Jeongguk was feeling itchy with the heavy awkwardness the two had placed themselves into, even if he was too focused on his phone with spammed texts to a certain hyung to return home so they could spend more time together-- but he had opted to join the group heading to rehearsal. A quiet sigh passed his lips as a sign of resigning to the fact that the other was too busy to respond no matter how many times the phone would ding, resulting in the device to be tossed onto the bed and a hand ruffling through his hair. 

     Besides the fact that the youngest had given up at any attempts, he still chose to remain silent and stare at the ceiling, his cheeks puffing with a slight noise of air, not exactly sure of what to do next since the other one in the room seemed rather busy himself with whatever he was giggling at on the small device placed in his hands.

     The youngest took a quick glance outside the hotel window, a minor headache forming from the constant screaming fans that didn’t seem to go away.

     Just a few more days. A few more days and their comeback would come to life before their growing fandom base and it would be a lie to say that Jeongguk wasn’t nervous, yet again, when was he ever not? It still scared him to stand on the stage with thousands screaming his name along with the chants they’ve created to suit along with their songs. It was always something that caused his heart to beat maybe a little too fast before the audience could see him in sight. 

     “Ah, hyung,” he spoke out softly, his eyes scanning over his own body from the practice room mirror. The two were last to remain here and have been practicing for hours, even giving tips to one another despite the fact both have perfected and memorized it so well. “Could you repeat that?” Jeongguk was rather distracted and didn’t seem to catch what the sitting one seemed to have said-- tuning him out since the elder had his phone out to skim through whatever, the younger criticizing himself through the practice room mirror from his features to his outfit in great distaste.

Jimin can’t help but giggle softly seeing the way Jungkook reacts to their fingers brushing. He was going to go straight for holding his hand, but the male was still kind of nervous about someone walking in and catching them. Even though the movie was already thirty minutes in and was on it’s last day in theaters. Not to mention it was dark and they wouldn’t have been able to see in between their seats. “What? Do you expect me to just climb over you and grab some? You’re supposed to offer, pabo.” He chuckles, throwing another piece of popcorn at him before doing just that and reaching over to snatch one of the boxes from beside Jungkook. He throws a couple pieces of a sour candy into his mouth before turning to look at Jungkook again, his expression soft and full of affection. “Hey,” he starts, their fingers brushing together again. Jimin allows his index finger to curl around Jungkook’s for a brief moment as he spoke to him. “I’m really happy we’re doing this. That we’re seeing this movie even though it’s lame and we can’t— I’m just really happy to be here with you.”

     The giggle didn’t exactly help the emotions running through his body as he turned away from the male rather shyly, trying to keep his breath steady but his typical nasal disability caused it to only form a soft sniffle and scrunch of his nose. “Pabo? How was I meant to know you wanted some of it too when you’re hogging the popcorn, hyung?” he questioned with a tick of his head after taking a quick sip of one of the drinks they had bought at the concession stand-- the cashier there already knowing who they were to their luck. 

     In fact, the younger was still wrapping his head around the way she looked at Jimin, his insecurities building up quick and tugging the two away and off to their correct theater, an obvious loud grumble being heard. Well, at least until the gentle voice of his beloved beside him brought his mind to ease at the previous thought, his head tilting towards the other with their eyes meeting once more. “Really?” he questioned with a small rise to the corner of his lips. Although, he took the dare and leaned over to connect their lips for a few short moments, nearly instantly glancing the other way to lean his chin onto the palm of his hand. 

     “I’m happy, too.” And with those words, their fingers laced tightly together between the seats.

     Just as promised they had chosen to sneak out after one of the younger’s promotion performances, he already waiting behind the scenes to sneak her away from the horrid company managers and off to what they would call freedom. It wasn’t long ago that they decided to run off and see a movie together, she says it as simply being a gift for his recent graduation but he paid no mind to it. Honestly, he was more curious about the fact on how this would work and if the two would get caught--- They won’t get caught right? 

     “Yerimmie,” he spoke out in his usual quiet soft tone. “You don’t think anyone would be able to tell it’s us, right?” Jeongguk found it strange how he was the one asking such things since it originally was his idea to attend and see the newly released anime movie with the other, yet it still slipped past his tongue and through the cloth of his dark face mask. Besides, she was from a larger company, they wouldn’t be happy.

     “Are you working on anything, Hyung?” Recently the two of them had trailed outside of the dorm, to which was filled with too much pressure in the air for him to bother with. The group truly wasn’t in the best position with one another, even picking sides to the argument that actually wasn’t really an argument either, at least not in his personal opinion. It was just a set of differences that made the youngest of the group feel uncomfortable and too scared to speak about-- though not surprisingly, that’s something he had never been good at in the first place. What could he do anyways? Everyone encouraged him to talk if not already upset with the male in the first place, but just one glance or mention of the said’s name and a shiver ran down his spine with instant heat flushing into his cheeks. Ever since that one night, he said had never left his mind along with the event that came across him and the other male still located at the dorm.

     Jeongguk’s breath was shaky with the cold air around the two, their steps quiet as the space around them remained silent, both lost in their own thoughts about issues the other may not even know, but he wasn’t going to step across that line due to the high amount of respect for the elder. “Do you think I could help?” he had questioned upon the mention of the studio and a new song. He even had been trying to work on a song of his own in an attempt to learn more but it was more difficult than it seemed. Just writing lyrics was something the youngest found difficult yet continued to improve on. “Or.. Keep you company at least?”

“jungkook! you’re making me miss the good part,” he yelled, elbowing the male in the side and throwing a handful of popcorn in his direction. saying he was making him miss the ‘good part’ was hilarious since he hadn’t really been paying much attention to the film at all. his attention for the whole thirty minutes they have been in the empty theater was focused entirely on jungkook. how could it not be when every single thought of jimin’s had been of jungkook for the past couple of weeks? how was he supposed to pay attention to some boring documentary when his boyfriend was sitting beside him looking as cute as he always was? it was impossible. yet still, he had to at least pretend to be interested in the film, if not to just mess with jungkook and give them something to banter over. “and quit hogging all the candy! i’ve gotten like one piece and you’ve been shoving them in your mouth for the past five minutes, it’s just not fair. i paid for them!” he tried to come off authoritative and serious, but it didn’t take more than a couple seconds after the words have left his mouth that jimin started laughing, his hand falling in between their seats to brush against jungkook’s hand.  

     It was true that the younger was already too busy stuffing his face with the various boxes of candy that was spread about their seats and space between. He was new at things like these and it didn’t help the growing nerves sparking in his body with every movement or sound from the other. Boyfriend, what a strange title to give someone so close as the other had been for many years yet just the word moving through his mind made the male’s heart flutter with a warmth he still had yet to get used to. 

     “I don’t see you taking any,” the younger spoke out softly-- though quickly freezing at the sudden brush of their hands, immediately sliding away to reach for one of the boxes. Jeongguk, for the first time that night, finally glanced back over towards his elder with their eyes connecting for a few brief seconds and his heart pounding just that much faster. “Y-You had the popcorn, so I.. Do y-you want some?” The maknae asked, voice trailing off.

« Okay, but hear me out- » probably the younger was done with him already, he could sense those hazel eyes pretty much begging him to get up so they could leave the practice room and drag their arses towards the dorms –but no, Min Yoongi was definitely in the mood to bother the maknae and that’s the reason he’s remaining sprawled on the floor. Definitely not because he feels his ankle hurting like crazy. Always hiding shit, huh. «  if we do like Tae-ah suggested and put mittens on ‘joon’s hands, it won’t save our chicken, on the contrary. It will be destruction tenfold.  I keep proposing starvation. » 

     While the other remained stretched along the floor speaking what seemed to be nonsense, Jeongguk was far too busy practicing the various steps and moves to their recent comeback, taking the time to prepare for their upcoming stages in front of what seemed to be thousands if not millions of fans screaming their names. His body followed the quick beat to “Not Today” despite not agreeing to the fact that this was simply to head away from the rest of the group for a break-- yet the elder had discovered where the young maknae seemed to be hiding. If he truly was hiding. 

     “Hyung,” the male spoke out with his usual soft tone. “Since when has something that Taehyungie suggested been a good idea?”
