OLIVIERÂ ( @olivierperrierâ )
As Ellis takes his hand and pulls Olivier towards the bathroom he can feel himself reddening in embarrassment and still shaking at the suddenness of the jealous reaction. It was humiliating, to say the least. Still, he finds the emotion does not linger as harshly as expected when Ellis is there with hands at the ready to help.
â dĂ©solĂ©, Ellis, rârâreally iâi-i shouldnât have shouted, i-i-i-i⊠â What had come over him? He wasnât with Ellis, not really. They had been fake dating for what, half an hour and heâs already jealous of the very person they had done this against? Olivier grabs some disposable towels and dabs unsuccessfully at the red drink in his hair and clothes before his gaze rests on Ellis and sees it splattered on him too. He reaches out unthinkingly, the drinks he had earlier making his fingers warm as he brushes away droplets from Ellisâs cheek.
â mââm-merde, it got over you t-tâ-t-too, je suis vraiment dĂ©solĂ©.âŠâ
It felt like the entire bar was looking at them as they walked towards the bathroom, even though the likelihood of that was pretty low. To an outsider, it was possible to interpret what happened as a random accident but there was definitely an air of malice behind it all. Ellis was racking his brain to find a way to make it up to Olivier, this was his fault after all.
âShh, shh, itâs fine.â Ellis responded, handing Olivier a few more towels to try and get some of the red out of his shirt. Hopefully that stain would come out eventually. But his train of thought was lost as the other placed his hand against his cheek in an almost caring gesture. It felt unfamiliar and strange, but not entirely unwanted. How was he supposed to respond to that?
âHuh?â Upon hearing Oliviers comment, Ellis finally noticed some red splatter on his own shirt. âOh, itâs nothing... Do you wanna get outta here? I suddenly donât feel comfortable out there anymore.â
