Don’t shoot me, just swipe through n’ drool. I have previously stated that I like other 4x4’s. I grew up mostly around Land Rovers. However, my family also owned and/or were around other legends like Haflingers, Matadors, MB’s, Champs etc - the Unimog is no exception. I spotted this particular Mog near my home. It is near identical to my fathers. Naturally I harassed the owner until he allowed me to snap a few pix (one day I’m hoping to snap a few of it in the wild).
Taking these pix is more than just a nostalgia kick, to me. Capturing automotive icons is a thrill. If they’re part of my past, in some form or another, the process & wow-factor is elevated greatly
