In solidarity...
I have been a part of the tumblr community since 2011. I found a lot of good blogs through the years from the tame to the obscene. Made friends with wonderful people through the years. On the 17th, I will be deleting my page in solidarity with the many other nsfw pages, though mine has tamed through the years, I cannot in good conscience continue to support a site that is making enemies of many of their faithful creators. I understand the reasons that tumblr is moving in the direction they are; child pornographers and those who repost their content are scum and I do not fault tumblr for taking steps to rid the platform of those who spread such filth, but to throw out all nudity entirely is not only foolhardy, but goes back upon the promises of the original founders. At the end of the day, tumblr can do whatever they want. They are a private company and have that right, just as I have the right to not support them anymore.
I will be on Twitter @jonetingley and on instagram as autotechotaku and when I find a final home for my nsfw content (most likely newgrounds or pornhub) I will post my links on said pages
