Happy Halloween everyone! Turns out now's an appropiate time to get #CastlevaniaRedrawn started. It starts with a redrawn of the 7th screen from the 3rd section of the original game, the Crumbling Towers. We'll be remaking the entire castle from the original game from the NES. Fellow pixel artists, if you'd like to participate, please send me a DM. Thanks!

TMNT SHREDDER'S REVENGE - BG ART (pt. 6)
Some samples of my work on TMNT SHREDDER'S REVENGE as BG artist. My work consisted in doing pixel art in-game assets for all the stages. I was provided with a PSD file featuring collision boxes and sketches already laid out by Stéphane Boutin. As long as I kept the colliders and the key narrative sections intact, I had plenty of freedom to change and add colors, details and everything, really. I made all the BG assets (foreground, parallax layers, and main ground), and the NYC world map. Some observations:
- Stages 1 and 2 were the ones I worked the least, having the chance to add just slight tweaks and foreground assets. - The pixel art for levels 3 and 5 was at first assigned to Derek Ung and Stèphane Boutin respectively. I was then asked to apply heavy reworks on the foundation they set up. - I didn't make any breakable objects, or animations. I was assigned to make the base sprite for some of those, however. I also, had the luxury to have my work supervised by Adam Marin (art director), which is one of my favorite pixel artists and an absolute joy to work with. His constant tips and advices made my work easier and I've learnt a lot from all of them. I feel honored and humbled to have had the chance to work on this. It's been a blast and I'm very happy with how all these bits of pixel art turned out in the end. Thank you so much, Tribute Games and Dotemu. I hope we get to work together in the future.

Hey! I'm so excited to announce that I'm working as a background pixel artist on TMNT Shredder’s Revenge!!  Can't wait to share with you even more of the stuff we've been working on.
Cuphead Fanart Sprites A series of Cuphead pixelart portraits I’m working on in which I’m using Cuphead as a reference of size, so the bosses ended up being huge.
Soon I'll finish a pixelated version of this boss' stage.
