"I'm good." Jude mumbled, rubbing his face. "'S not like that'll be the last time. I'm sure there's a few more of those where my attitude came from."

"I'm good." Jude mumbled, rubbing his face. "'S not like that'll be the last time. I'm sure there's a few more of those where my attitude came from."
A few weeks had passed since Jude had tried keeping up his sobriety. And one of the things counselor had told him to try was repenting. For things he'd done to other people. So he made his way through the halls to a girl who's boyfriend he'd decked, nervously. "Look, I know you hate me. And I'm sorry for what I did that night at Winter Formal, I was in a bad place and I just want to tell you I'm trying to get better... I really hope you'll forgi-" A resounding slap could be heard in the halls. And for a minute Jude just stood there, nodding with a grimace. Eyeing up the person who approached cautiously, he merely stated:
So, if you and Jude were the Weasley twins, who would be Fred and who would be George?
Damn it I don’t know. That’s a good one. Jude? Thoughts?
That's easy. Davis would be Fred. Fred is usually the more outgoing twin. George is his reserved, but still mostly as goofy as Fred. Let's put it this way, whenever Davis and I would get into shenanigans when we were younger, Davis was the Driver. Always taking the initiative to do the most fun things, the most social things. Like Fred. I've always been the Navigator. When things seem to be getting too wild, I try (not always sucessfully) to get Davis out of trouble with my wit. And there you have it.

"Tell me about it." He sighed, looking around at the parking lot. "But maybe the pressure does us good. And maybe it's horrible on us. No one can really say for sure. Some of us are doing really well, and then..." He went quiet. "Some of us are dying to find our place." Glancing over at Zander, he grinned. "Just be glad you're not from here."
"But your mom..." He mumbled. "She's not gonna like that." He said quietly. He raked his hands through his hair before he finally looked at her. "I'm sorry you have to see this. I wanted to call you I just... I didn't know how to." He admitted softly. "I didn't know how to tell you about everything that happened. One minute I was confessing, and then Davis tried to defend me and then... Then he and I were swinging at each other. He hurt Davis too. I couldn't stop him."

“He wondered: about this, about that, about the world. His thoughts were his greatest asset and his biggest downfall.”
So, if Davis is older does the explain why he's taller? ;D

Davis: JUDE BAKER WHY?! YOU COULD HAVE STAYED AT RILEYS!
Davis: I am so pissed at you right now. Where are you now I/m coming to get you
Jude: You're only my big brother by ten seconds, sit down.
Jude: I wanted to give you alone time. And I wanted time to think about everything.
Jude: I'm walking around. Davis I'm fine, really. Besides I need to go see mom. Or one of us should.
This was the last person he wanted to see him like this. "Just got into an argument with dad..." He mumbled. Having her kneel beside him, he glanced up at her warily. "I can't go home... Ginny he knows. He knows about the problem." He mumbled. "I don't know where to go."
"Nothing, kid. I'm okay." He murmured, glancing back at her. "Just had some trouble. I'm alright." He wiped his face off, some of the blood well dried. "What're you doing out? It's almost ten o' clock. You should be home, short stuff."

Davis: No. I'm just recovering from a hella hang over.
Davis: Where are you anyways?
Jude: You know, I hate to say it, but substances of the mind altering sort don't mix well with our last name.
Jude: I spent the night at the rivercourt. Didn't want to be bothered. You got to Riley's alright?

"I don't think it's cursed in the least." He said, heading to the parking lot. "I just think if you're born into certain families in this town, you have high expectations. Like if you're a Scott you're either gonna be a rockstar, or a sports star. And if you're a Davis you've got this old man who's a famous director, and a mom who started a fashion dynasty. Not cursed. Just super pressured with tradition."
"Cause Lydia and I can't seem to enjoy this place the way you guys did when you were our age." Jude murmured. Watching the free throw sink, his eyes rolled but a small smile came about. "Lord knows the Scott legacy will be impossible for Davis and I to sink, but we'll sure as hell give it a try." He grabbed the ball, jogging back to the three line when he spun and shot his own fade-away. The ball sank easily in the net, and he turned raising a brow. "Beat that, old timer."

Jude: I just wanted to let you know I'm okay.
Jude: I also got that weird feeling.
Jude: Please tell me you're okay too.
Jude: Unless I'm being a total youknowwhat block.
Do you love Ginny?
"I don't want to throw that word around. But I care about her more than I've ever cared about anyone. And I think she's my best friend on the whole planet aside from Davis. I think she's beautiful. Brilliant, and brave. And it's easy to picture a future with her. So I might. We'll see."
