Summary:

“I, Dongfang Qingcang, crowned Supreme Moon Lord of Cangyan Sea, would like to formally and royally request the divine painting of the Arbiter to be inked onto my body by hellfire by the end of this moon cycle.”

To assert his authority upon his tribe, the aspiring Moon Supreme Lord must get the mythical tattoo artist Siming to tattoo him the Hellfire's ink, the most powerful magical tattoo. Problem is, she went missing a couple of centuries ago, leaving behind her enthusiastic yet clumsy disciple, Orchid. He must gain her trust and help her reach her potential, all anonymously and before the opposite clan's General. Orchid is a powerful tattoo artist who inks from a plant she can grow at will from her arm. Her art must be made voluntarily and with joy or the consequences for the receiver of the tattoo will be dire.

Glazed Fire's WIP

I was lucky enough to be paired with the amazing work of @ashayatreldai for the @lbfad-minibang.

I wasn't lucky enough though, to have a functioning computer, I'm usually working traditionally with a few digitals editing and so two big illustrations with multiple layers... It didn't like that. At. All.

I'm in the process of fixing it but in the meantime here are the two pieces in question.

I had the privilege to work in collaboration with @ashayatreldai for the @lbfad-minibang. More illustrations, work in progress and sketches to come. I tried my best to do it justice and I hope you'll like this story as much as I do.

I'm participating in the #lbfadminibang as an illustrator and this was supposed to be a "quick sketch"... It escalated quickly that's for sure.

Hopeful

A couple of months ago I watched my first cdrama, Love Between Fairy and Devil (Cang Lan Jue) and surprise surprise (no) I became obsessed. The characters, the costumes, the Lore, the fantastic hair (omg the hair!) I was hooked. Had no other choice but to draw them 😁

I've always drawn fan art but I don't usually post them, so I was thinking of maybe turning my Tumblr into something more fanart's oriented?
