frieren: beyond journey's end is called sousou no frieren in japanese. sousou meaning funeral. so "frieren of the funeral(s)"

this usually gets translated to "frieren at the funeral" given how the first chapter is frieren crying at a funeral, but it could also be "frieren sending others to their funerals", which then turns into "frieren the slayer". because frieren is super good at slaughter. one of the best in history.

this epic reveal of the title being able to mean "frieren the slayer" really gets lost in translation.
