It depends on the continuity/media and he’s usually presented as an orange but with red and brown undertones which are present in his shading (at least in Prime which is the media I’m familiar with) Or, in other words, he’s a rusty guy

I haven't seen this brought up by anyone else yet but if you look at the size difference between humans and bots in Transformers: prime and then the size difference between humans and bots in Transformers: rescue bots then you start to realize that damn, holy hecc, Megatron could literally step on those poor boys.

The rescue bots are literally minicon size compared to over half of the bots in transformers prime.
