Anytime I hear that one edit audio from The Last Unicorn I can’t help but think of Q when he was turned human.

Could you imagine going from something all-knowing, all-powerful, immortal, to…something that can’t even process what it’s like to be any of those things? Do you think Q kept trying to do something he couldn’t even comprehend? Do you think he could feel his body slowly decaying in the short time he was human? I think he really was suicidal, even if he played it off. I think he would rather not exist than not be a Q.

I think He’s the ultimate Trickster. I love how he’s so beautifully petty and chaotic.

He has the power of a god but the temperament of a bored genius, especially with his obsession with Captain Picard? (Well that’s my personal perspective though 🥹) . Although Their relationship and interest has been so fun to watch and fascinating.

Trying to capture that mix of divine indifference and mischievous spark in my style was so much fun. 🎨
