Jules was running around their apartment in a quick frenzy, trying to make sure she had absolutely everything she needed as she was on her way to visit her little sister for the weekend, and Isaiah was only capable of standing there, watching his roommate as she searched back and forth for a certain item that he was currently holding onto, keeping quiet to see if she’ll even realize that he was holding it out for her to take. “Zaya, Zaya, my neck pillow is missing! It’s missing! We have to cancel the flight, now, I can’t go see her with a kink in my neck, that’d be a nightm-” The smaller brunette’s rant quickly came to a halt once she noticed the purple pillow being held out expectantly to her by a smirking Isaiah. “Huh, well what d’ya know?” She asked sheepishly, gratefully taking it from his grasp before taking a deep breath, now knowing what comes next as she looked up at her glorious sight of a roommate. “You have everyth-thing else you need?” He questioned with a light smile gracing his lips, placing his hands into his pockets, the smile only widening once the girl nodded in confirmation. “Uh, yeah, yeah, I think I do. I’ll miss you, you beautiful man. You gotta send me at least one selfie a day, ya hear me? A weekend’s a long time not being able to see that face.” She teased lightly, causing Isaiah to laugh out with a raised brow. “That can be arranged, gorgeous.” He teased right back, knowing that the space they shared wasn’t going to be the same without her. “I’ll also be sure not t-to watch any of the documentaries we’ve promised to see, unless you’re able to facet-time me so we can see it together.” The taller male recited, as if it was something she had made him promise beforehand, which, it probably was. “That is all I ask. Now c’mere!” Jules urged, spreading her arms out to him as her friend moved forward with another chuckle, scooping her up in his arms and giving her a light squeeze. “I’ll see y-you in a few days.”
