Just because Patrick reposted that gross article doesn’t necessarily mean it reflects his actual opinion about the Kingdon ship. He used the word «Fondly*» as a substitute for «Horny». Please excuse my English, it’s not my native language, but I’d like to mention that Langdon was really looking forward to Mel coming back after deposition.

He waited for her at the nurses’ station in the ER lobby. She ignored his question about how it went and changed the subject to her sister. And then… he said it was confidential. Seriously, Frank?! Okay

But you can tell from his expression that it hurt his feelings a little. He was probably mirroring Mel’s behavior, since she’d acted toward him as if her life were confidential to him, too.

He showed her how unpleasant it sounded when he wanted to take care of her.
