Commemorative cards for the D&D party!

In a couple of days, this campaign that's lasted over two years will come to an end. I'm feeling emotional and I decided to draw these cards for each player.

Aurora opens her eyes to life again, with incredible new powers she's never had before.

This is the second part of the comic about Aurora's story, a half-elf warlock.

The first meeting between Aurora and Sorte. The birth of a warlock 🖤✨

love D&D and I love drawing stories.🐉✨ These pages are inspired by “Trust in Me” by The Dead Brothers.

Aurora is a half-elf searching for her place in the world. She spent her whole life by her father’s side, convinced she could never leave him – that she was his only comfort. But when he died, she found herself alone… and for the first time in her life, free.

She decided to see the world and become a bard, living and telling fantastic adventures.

Unfortunately, some thugs took advantage of her naivety. They lured her into a forest to sacrifice her to some unknown entity in a dark ritual.

Consumed by fear, Aurora called out to the entire pantheon of gods. When no one answered, she extended her plea to anyone.

And then – just as the dagger pierced her chest – everything around her vanished.

She woke up in a luminous room. A giant, beautiful elf stood before her and offered to save her life.

Evelynne, tiefling rogue 🖤

This drawing is quite old by now, but I'm fond of it, just as I'm fond of the character. Evelynne is a character I only got to play for a very few sessions (unlucky campaign, over before it even began), and I didn't even get to roleplay her much, but I had written a ton about her background and had fun imagining so many of her adventures, so in the end I ended up drawing her quite often. She was my first (and so far only) evil character. I would have loved to give her a nice redemption arc during the campaign, but in the end it only stayed in my head. I also tried to include her in a video game I worked on… but that story probably deserves a post of its own!

Aurora & Sorte🖤✨

A warlock and her archfey patron. I tried to capture the essence of their relationship in this piece. Only she can see him. He guides her on her journey, suggesting where to go or what to do… The problem is, she can’t remember the terms of the pact. He tells her it’s an unfortunate circumstance, but she must just trust him and everything will work out fine.

Is he worthy of trust? I don’t know… but Aurora trusts him!

I love making character timelines! Imagining them from childhood to old age! When I create a character, I'm a bit obsessive. I like to imagine lots of aspects of their life, and I love that this shows in their physical appearance!✨
