I believe it, Lima is a no good place filled with old dull people and I just canāt handle this anymore. Thatās what we should do, leave!
Right now, the only foreseeable out is college, especially since our parents are the reason weāre here and probably donāt want to leave anytime soon.. But you still have a long ways to go until you even have to think about it..
Heās being a dick. Long story short, he wants me to be like him when Iām older. Thatās why Iām set on moving out so I wonāt have to deal with his shit anymore and I can do my own thing.
You need some space to cool down so you can think this through with a level head. And not irrationally.... Do you wanna crash at my place so you donāt have to deal with him right now?

Iām starting to think that Lima is some sort of vortex or black hole that sucks you in and you can never really leave once youāre here.. I mean, Iāve accepted this place and I kinda like my life here but I donāt want to be stuck here.. I actually wanna leave..
I thought I was the only one who did that? I mean I know Iām terrible at directions but this towns just a black hole and makes it easy to get lost.Ā
Apparently not... I thought I knew where I was going but I ended up back where I started. And police here think that stopping to check for directions with your lights on now means that youāre parked. So now, I have a ticket and couldnāt go shopping and Iām kinda upset.
How could anyone get lost in a city so very small?
I made a few turns thinking that I was going somewhere cause Iāve done this drive before and I somehow Ā ended up like a block away from where I started... Then I stopped to look at my phone and a cop thought I was parked in a no parking zone and I wasnāt cause my car and lights were still on so now I have a ticket and I didnāt get to go to the mall.
Iāve been here for years now and I still get lost sometimes when Iām driving by myself... Itās either because of my driving or itās because of the town and Iām choosing to blame the town cause I did really well on my driving test the second time I took it.
I blame my parents for deciding to leave LA to move to this ghost town. I mean it is the first day of summer and I do wanna party too, so both.
I said it before and Iāll say it again, the adults in our lives are too attached to this place to see how lame it is. Cause they were born here.. Itās summertime, you donāt really need a reason to party. Itās the āparty everyday just cause we canā time of the year. You of all people should know that, Mr. Party King.

I completely agree, Carter.. Itās been painfully boring lately and everyone is probably losing their minds... Is there a reason for this one or is it a just because you can party?

But I donāt know this place like the back of my hand, I only come to this dead end place when itās Christmas. I have no damn clue how weāre going to make it fun when there is nothing to do here, I canāt deal. Exactly, how the hell am I going to have fun..
Donāt feel bad. I still get lost from time to time and this place is literally as big as the back of a hand. Thereās not much to do but find the right people to make it fun.
I canāt believe they love this boring town so much. Itās so dead. My mami tells me the stories about when they were younger but I am not going to get drunk in someoneās basement and sing oldies.Ā
They were all born here so thatās all they know, I guess.. I think theyāre expecting us to make our own fun or something like that but its harder to do when youāre in a new place.. Plus, getting drunk in a basement and singing doesnāt really sound all that fun either so I question what they consider to be fun.
