It had been a little less than a week since Wren had been officially kicked out of his house. Convincing his landlord that the rent would be paid soon had only lasted so long. Being homeless was something Wren would have never expected to happen—not to him. He didn't look like a homeless man from the way he was dressed, but his hair was a mess, clearly unwashed, and there were bags under his eyes that looked out of place on his face. Even though he still had his job, he wondered if it was even worth keeping it. He should have been saving, and sure, he could start now, but really, he didn't see the point in much anymore. Wren didn't know how he'd ended in Cresthill Meadows, but he'd been spending the day wandering. He technically had his car, but he was trying to conserve the gas in it, just in case. He had enough money on him to fill it up, and if he put the next couple of cheques away, he'd be able to at least pay the insurance on it. Now, sat outside of Cedar Grill & Lounge, he was taking in the smells of cooking meat and the sounds of people who were having a much better time than he was. When he heard the door open, he quickly pushed himself to his feet, his eyes darting to the woman. It was weird. This was an area where he should have felt comfortable, but he felt out of place. He was hoping for a moment that the other hadn't noticed him, but she was too close, and there was no way that she had not seen him. "I—sorry I was just leaving." He cleared his throat and threw his backpack over his shoulder. "I shouldn't be here."
"Hey, is something wrong?" She asked, her eyes on him as she went to follow him. Juliet had been standing outside, and she had saw him come out of the Lounge, but she didn't know what to make of it. Normally, people were enjoying themselves more than running from the place and she wanted to help if she could. "Is there something I can do to help?" She asked, her voice trailing after him. He had seemed kind of spooked when he had seen her, and she didn't know why, but she wanted to help or at least do something if she could because the last thing Juliet wanted was for someone to feel uncomfortable, much less at her place of work. She just hoped he turned around and spoke to her, but she didn't know if he would.
Donny was the owner of Ceder Grill, and he did love it, as it was fun for him and easy after his past in the Marines. But he did his best to own and manage the best he could. He had been working in the office doing this and that, and needed a break and a walk. So he and Honey, his service dog, got up and walked out of the office and made their way around the bar to say hello and check on things before he made his way outside, where there was some nice seating. He smiled as he made his way outside and saw Juliet out front. "Hey juliet" he smiled as he walked towards her. "How are you doing?" he asked with a smile.
"I'm surviving." She said with a laugh, her eyes on him as she shrugged her shoulders. Truthfully, she was exhausted and hadn't slept in days because Parker had been having weird dreams, and she didn't know if she was yearning for sleep more or if she was yearning for normalcy. She looked at him and moved her copper hair out of her eyes and sighed. "Parker hasn't been sleeping much, so I'm just tired, so I thought I'd take a break. How are you today?" She asked, her eyes on him as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Are your parents still trying to get you to open up the surf shop?" She asked, her eyes on Aliye as she asked the question that was in her mind. The copper haired beauty could see the idea brewing in her own mind, mostly, because she thought that a surf shop would be beneficial in Kismet Harbor, but she didn't know if Aliye would want to do something like that and she could see that she was having a hard time deciding what to do. Maybe Juliet could help her decide what to do, or at least be a sounding board.

juliet pulled up her copper hair into a ponytail as she walked into the grill that day. she hadn't slept much the night before and she was banking that today was going to be busy and she was honestly already dreading it. of course, sleep had been eluding her, parker was having nightmares, and she has having trouble with her anxiety. she made her way into the back for a few minutes until she sat a few people and then it was time to take a few minute break. walking outside, she took in the fresh air, breathing deeply and admiring the sunshine.
