dylanriggsâ:
dylan watched as the blonde opened he book, before handing it to him. he swallowed against the lump in his throat, and honestly, he was surprised that she had so openly let him see in the notebook. he was pretty private about his own notebook. he grabbed the book with his right hand, looking at the lyrics written across the paper and he read them when she started to sing them to him. lifting his head, dylan looked at her through his dark lashes as the words fell from the femaleâs mouth. his brown eyes went to the guitar and he felt his heartstrings being pulled at as he watched her fingers glide across the strings. you donât have to like it, itâs kinda silly but thatâs what iâve got. " itâs not silly. itâs pretty good. " dylan moved to take a seat next to her and he tapped his fingers against the piece of paper. " i have worked on something⊠maybe you could use that. i mean, if you want. "
She chuckled, âI donât think pretty good is going to fly on an album. I need perfection, or greatness..â She swallowed the bitter taste in her mouth and took another breath, she was taking her frustration out on this poor boy and she didnât mean to. âI--Yeah I would love to hear what youâve got. If you want have it written down i can play it for you.â She offered realizing he couldnât exactly show her in the best way possible. âHow long are you going to be in that thing anyway? If I wasnât able to play I donât know what I would do. I feel like my guitar is glued to my side eighty percent of the time.â
