Day 31 - Panel 31
We have reached the end of this journey. From the very beginning, I wanted to tell a horror and body horror story. That's why I drew from a personal experience: my mother's battle with cancer and everything that entails. What could be more terrifying than something that invades your body and that you can't fight, no matter how hard you try? I wanted to give tangible form to that suffocating feeling and also use my mother's appearance as a reference, as I see her as a great heroine until her very last breath.
