Got Your Six || Ginny & Julio [[Wildcard Wednesday]]
Ginny moved her scarf once they were safely on the elevator toward her apartment and she ran her hand over Sarah’s head, inspecting her daughter carefully. “She’s fine. Thank you,” she said, giving Happy a half-hug as they dropped him off at security before finishing the elevator ride. As they headed into her place, “You really, really helped us. Thank you. And thank Charles for me.”
She put Sarah in her bouncer/rocker, smiling as the baby’s fussing immediately ceased. She loved that thing. Tony was the best. She kept Sarah in sight as she headed to the kitchen to make some tea. “You’re welcome to stay here until the fighting dies down, if you want. There’s plenty of room, a giant TV, and my fridge is pretty stocked. Help yourself to anything if you’re hungry. Or we can call down for something. There’s a cafeteria in the building. They do really, really great pizza.”
She leaned back against the counter as the kettle heated up and watched her daughter, happy now that she was home. Her shoulders relaxed with a few deep breaths. “Tony he- he’s great. I mean… I know the media gives him a sort of…. picture. But he’s not like how the papers picture him. He’s- he’s one of the best men I’ve ever met. He has such a big heart. If uh… I mean I’m sure I can introduce you two sometime if that’s what you want?”
“I think I’ll take you up on that offer,” Julio chuckled when the girl said that he was welcome to stay. “As fun as going outside and getting clobbered sounds, I think I’ll just chill and wait for it to at least die down some.” Julio said as he made his way to one of the windows to peer outside. It was kind of amazing that none of the mutants had targeted the Stark tower.
“This place has it’s own cafeteria?” Julio said with wide eyes as he made his way to the fridge. He could see it was stocked with just about anything one’s heart could desire. “This is fucking crazy...” He couldn’t help but think as he started making a plate of microwaveable speghetti.
He listened to her words and chuckled. “Hey, I figured he was a decent guy. Anyone who kicks bad guy ass is good enough for me.” Julio chuckled as he got himself a glass of water. “So are you two dating or something?” He asked curiously as he leaned against the counter and waited for the spaghetti to get done microwaving.
