Men who want to be feminists do not need to be given a space in feminism. They need to take the space they have in society & make it feminist.

Glenna June Bellomy Anderson (1926 - 2008). When the cemetery sexton sold Glenna her stone, her request for the inscription on it was “I was… somebody.” He said the reason was that Glenna felt that many years after she died no one would probably remember her anyway. By having this inscription on her stone, people would see & remember it. Park Cemetery, Carthage, Missouri. (Source)

Got a relevant job and get to finally work the way I’ve always wanted to, put in my two weeks today, headed in the direction of what I want to do as a career, and may have a paper published in an academic journal. Painted something I love. Writing things I have been talking about beginning for years. Somehow everything was pushed into place like growing teeth and I feel like I can run my tongue over my current condition in one smooth pass. That’s a first.
