Me: for my first fanfic I’ll write something short, a one-shot maybe, just to get used to writing.

Remember not to give a shit and write cringy fanfiction and make bad art and wear weird clothes and dance badly to your favorite song never stop doing these creative things that make you happy.
Hi, I'm Giulia!
A year ago I started revolutionizing my life to finally be happy with what I do. Not as a performance for others but because I want to be happy. So, like any sane person would do, I created a new Tumblr blog!
I started reading fanfiction when I was 14. I still remember that my first fic was a Dramione. For me it was exactly like the scene in The Wizard of Oz where Dorothy opens the door and the world suddenly explodes into Technicolor.
In the years that followed I tried to get closer to writing, pushed by all the ideas I had in my head. But I was (and still am) my biggest enemy, and I didn't believe I was good enough. For years I told myself that reading fic was enough.
But after going back to therapy and actually doing it properly this time, I've made a decision.
I want to write at least ONE fanfiction in my life.
I want to prove it to myself. Regardless of what others think, regardless of engagement or whether my fic will ever be liked by anyone. I'm doing it because the fic I'm trying to write is one that Giulia would love to read.
This blog will be my diary: the emotions and the struggles of this new adventure.
Wish me luck!
