i wish i could be a fly on a wall. yep, if i could eavesdrop on peoples conversations i’d really appreciate it. id buzz around and listen to all different types of people converse. maybe that way i’ll learn how people who connect so well with others and are so outgoing function. theres just a few people i’ve noticed who just seem to be so lovely that everyone notices and realizes how awesome they are. maybe theyre just cool, lol. let me infiltrate your conversations for a while so i can figure out how to talk to people and be as interesting as you. feelin’ bland like steamed veggies.

I want to get better at, idk, responding to people?  ive started to notice that when i talk to acquaintances I don’t ask much about about them or follow up on statements. leads to short and cut off conversations. i’m not sure if it’s bc i just dont know what to say or just that i don’t want to seem nosy and ask out of bounds than what’s normal between us. but i see now that if i keep that up then we can never be actual friends. i can’t just small talk every interaction if i want to make friends that will last. I’ll push alL uP in their personal boundaries till they’re eXtreMEly uncomfortable ;). ah, it just feels weird talking to people about things i normally just talk to my friends of 5+ years about.i’m so awks talking to people i don’t have mutual friends with. how antisocial lol. gonna work on it!!
