Making hurried steps to his front door, Watanuki opens it to greet the trick-or-treaters waiting for his arrival; offering a smile in response to their cheerful outburst. His tail swishes ever so slightly before him as he offers a plate out with treats placed on top of it.

“Now, would you prefer ghost candies or pumpkin chocolates? You can take one of each, if you’d like. They’re all hand made by myself.”

            Arjuna waggles his own tail, joyful to see one with similar characteristics as he. “I’ll take both, if I may.” He’s curious to see how ghost-flavored candies taste like, mostly.

            “Purrhaps you are the one seeking games here. You can find some playmates if you were less catty.”

“Wait a meowment, was there always this many cats? Or are we experiencing a fluffy influx?”

            “It meowst be but a figment of your imagination.”

            It was truly fortuitous that they would let him in the scavenger hunt even as a mere cat. True, the lack of opposable thumbs made handling some things difficult, but carrying his haul was a cinch with his tiny basket and his Rank C Strength.

            With his cat-like sight and cat-like smell it was easy to track down the hidden delights, but now something decidedly not-caramel seemed to be interfering with his nose. It was...still rather sugary? But in a slightly different manner. And there seemed something else mixed with it.

            Sniff. Sniff. It seemed to come from her. This orange lady seemed quite unusual. She seemed nice and all, but why make a mess by splattering food over her face? That didn’t seem to be quite hygienic.

            He meowed, to catch her attention. Does she have food? Hopefully she has some food.

    this was more amusing than she even thought was possible. watching person after person fumble through the dark, fear coursing through their veins when one of the many ‘monsters’ gave them the fright of their lives. sometimes she’d assist, but only to watch them reach a dead-end and then leave them. she had no interest in the chest that lay hidden within as this was a far better use of her time. simply wandering about, waiting to find the next person to cross her path to lead on a wild goose chase. anything…..ah, more sinister, would get her into trouble. and she was not ready to let go of her fun here just yet.

        the sound of approaching steps alerts the demon to her newest target, lips curling into a smirk for a fraction of a second. “ This place is huge, isn’t it? You never know what’ll be lurking around the corner. If only they added in secret passages…” words so casual, offered with a wave of her hand in the air. she then shifts: one foot back, body turned slight, golden eyes casting a glance over her shoulder. ( they glow when they should not. many things about her should not be, and yet, they are. )

    “ Are you lost?” she coos, head tilting ever so slightly. “ I can help you find the way to the end, if you’d like~. “ an innocent enough offer, isn’t it? just someone extending help with a friendly smile, but underneath lay something else.  something different, something darker. 

@junaou​ – spooky maze time

            The merrymakings and goings of this season sparked his curiosity at first, for it was quite unlike any other festivity he has known. To willingly dress up as someone else, but without the trappings of a dress code or formality, seemed like a fun venture unlike any other. His imagination ran wild at the days leading up to the festival, his room filled with thread and buttons and other crafts such that he might participate in a way he desired.

            The act of transformation was a high-level art: only gods and the most accomplished of magicians could do such a thing. And now it was an ability given freely, in the shape of a simple piece of candy…The Stars are mysterious ones, indeed. At the very least, they don’t seem to be given with ill intentions. Perhaps it would be quick to deem them as evil. But only perhaps.

            He took his time walking leisurely within this maze, preferring to find all the paths rather than search for the treasure as quickly as possible. The darkness did not scare him - he wouldn’t be much of a Servant if such a trivial handicap got in his way, let alone with the caliber of one such as Arjuna. As his luck would have it, he had yet to encounter anyone in the maze, let alone eldritch monsters, but that would soon come into an end.

            A smile grew on his face, recognizing the familiar silhouette about him. But even that faltered, because he could tell that there was something a little off about his Master. She was merely human after all - and this was not said in disdain but in pride, for it was one of her best qualities - but the way her eyes gleamed in the shade told otherwise.

            “…Master? Is there something amiss?” He tilted his own head in response, luminous cat ears swaying just a bit. Just in case, he grasped through the link that bound him as her Servant: and there it was; this one was no impostor. “If it’s the goal you seek, then perhaps we might search for it together.”

            He will simply have to find out the cause of all this as they ventured within the labyrinth.

            “It’s quite the ameowzing experience.” He licks his paw aimlessly, looking up at the now-taller figure upon him. “Albeit a bit inconvenient in pawces.”

Now that the activities are out, here’s a little starter call for Junao on the event! Keeping this one lighthearted since god needs a break sometimes. For this one Junao went a bit ham on the costumes - they’re all DIY and he’s quite proud of them so expect him to go around without the candy in effect. One significant characteristic of all of his appearances though is that he has a remarkably glow in the cyan variety. No he can’t turn them off sorry, so your spooky activities would be considerably less spookier

CATBOY

after being called a catboy by way too many people, he tries his hand at dressing up like one!

a pretty minimal costume, featuring cat ears (that are wrapped around his horns so they still glow), and some fluff on his tail to match the motif. there’s also some prop claws and fangs because why not.

the candy takes the boy out of the catboy, essentially

god is now a regular sized black cat, but he still has his glow in the dark horns because why not

you can still talk to him normally while he’s in this form, although he’s very inclined to talk in cat puns and purring.

has a better sense of smell and eyesight than usual, but otherwise he’s pretty much the same.

of the western variety! mostly because he’s kinda used to most of the eastern dragons by now. hand waves to his lostbelt

uses one of those dragon suits. but cuter. because it’s junao and he deserves to be cute. this is predominantly dark blue. the spiky scales are the glow in the dark stuff this time!

made holes for his horns and tail sine they’re still there and all

if he takes the candy he’d still be junao sized, but now he can breathe fire! it’s also honestly pretty much the only reason why he wants to dragon it up in the first place.

            “...A cat.” He could see where the Crypter was coming from, considering how he has been called a cat at least twice by now. “But is not Halloween the time for terrifying creatures? Cats are not terrifying.”
