Bikepacking trip with Javi - Cerdanya, Pyrenees, Spain. This area seems overlooked by visitors, perhaps because it is not the high Pyrenees. This makes for great bikepacking trails with remote high meadow camp spots and fantastic mountain scenery. Be warned, Spanish maps are almost useless, so we were lost for a lot of the time.

Three day self sufficient bikepacking adventure around Cerdanye Valley, Pyrenees, Spain. 20th June 2014.

This was the most beautiful bikepacking trip i've had. The trails were fast, dusty and super fun. It was 3 days of cycling bliss with very little portaging and reaching ski resorts at 1800m. We didn't see another cyclist in three days. The possibilities for remote mountaintop camping are ample, although it was chilly at night. The place is pumping with wildlife - vultures, snakes, fish and clouds of butterflies.
