I started playing Animal Crossing: Let's Go to the City! It's a new town, but City Folk is the first Animal Crossing game I ever played. I got it when it was first released; I was 7 years old. Soon after, I also got Wild World and the original Gamecube Animal Crossing. City Folk will always have a special spot in my hears haha, it makes me feel nostalgic :)

Today’s second birthday goes to Porter! 

This monkey runs the train station in the older games! He’s an excellent friend who encourages train safety and helps people visit other towns. It’s rumored that the monkey villager Champ from Wild World and City Folk is Porter’s brother, as Champ’s birthday is in June! Porter is the coolest monkey, and he’s not even a villager, because he loves to help you travel! If you stop into an older game today, don’t forget to stop by and say hi to Porter, he deserves it!

new leaf is still a good game and you can’t convince me otherwise 😤 yes the graphics aren’t as updated and that may be off putting to some people (which is fine bc we can all have preferences!) but it also has a TON of features that new horizons lacks
