Money scares me, I feel terrible spending anything,
the word 'swim' is doing a lot of heavy work here
Not half as much as the audio is
the orb continues to perplex mouse
Pondering…
Yeah, for thoses who don't know, Aurora Perrineau who play Eurydice in Kaos, is the daughter of Harold Perrineau, who play Mercutio in THAT Romeo+Juliet adaptation (you know the one)
can you fuckin imagine you get hired for a creative job and they say 'you're gorgeous and we want you to look as beautiful and free as this haunting vision we once adored when we were young' and you look at the kiss-stained inspo board and there's your slutty dad
Remind me later.
I realise that this is an unbelievably pedantic complaint but classic who didn't film in quarries in Wales lmao. It didn't become a BBC Wales production until 2005, prior to that it was shot out of London. The quarries were all in the south of England. 👍
I'm sure you're right but in the nicest possible way. This energy:

I want to start working towards my artistic goals more, to achieve more with my life, I feel so stressed and yet I'm not even fully grown up yet
I think I am going to make a blog, not a tumblr blog, but a "official website" blog, I've been looking into the costs and doesn't seem to be that bad, and if I gain some traction I could earn some money from it
I am going to start drafting blog post ideas and categorize them in a specific niche, I want to have multiple niches on my blog but have them in separate locations on the website to keep them organized
One should always have at least 2 craft projects going. That way, when one of them is messed up and misbehaving, you can switch to another, and let the first one sit there and think about what it's done.
Sometimes (oftentimes), when a creative project is "misbehaving," it's because it is tired, and overstimulated, and just needs a time out to rest -- like toddlers often need.
And sometimes, you should give your creative projects time to talk to each other, as well as to you.
Instructions unclear; my 17 ongoing craft projects have unionized against me.
It's been observed that you can't just take a piece of clothing that's designed for a skinny person and scale it up to produce a piece of clothing that's designed for a fat person – the whole garment needs to be reconceived. Much the same is true of character assets in video games: you can't turn textures and animations for a skinny character into textures and animations for a fat character simply by fucking with some sliders. In games which permit customisation of the player character, supporting multiple distinct body types in a way that doesn't look like shit will typically require multiple distinct versions of most player-facing assets. This is one of the principal arguments against body type diversity in video games, and it's unfortunately correct as far as its premises go: unless you're a AAA studio, you probably don't have the resources to crank out multiple distinct versions of every player-facing asset, particularly if the breadth of customisation you're aiming for is otherwise large, so pragmatically you need to pick a fairly narrow subset of body types you're going to support and stick with it.
The nuance that's wilfully being overlooked, of course, is that if you're obliged by the limits of your resources to require all player characters to adhere to the same narrow subset of body types, there isn't actually anything stopping you from requiring all player characters to be fat.
controversial opinion but unfortunately you are your actions and what you say. if you are mean to people, it doesn’t matter if you sometimes have secret kind thoughts. fortunately you are your actions and what you say. if you are kind in your actions and your words, it doesn’t matter if you sometimes have mean thoughts. the power is in working against inner negative thoughts and being a better person despite it. you have the ability to cultivate the person you want to be.
Testing out some color ideas for a future project – I’ve been wanting to try and do one of those very limited, punchy color schemes, like you sometimes see in old children’s book illustrations. I’m not sure I have the aesthetic restraint for it! I keep wanting to layer for more naturalistic colors :p it’s fun to play around with, though, and I’m sure I’ll hit a balance I like eventually.
I love this post so much I have done everything in my power to make sure I will never forget it via reblogging it every October 5th, in memory of discovering it for the first time
FUCKING PREACH
It’s all about control, sexism, racism, it’s not about babies or lives or the Bible
Okay, but I've seen this argument thrown around for years, and I never believed it because it's been pushed into my brain since I was a child by my extremely Christian parents that abortion is fundamentally evil because it goes against the Bible. But I'm taking a 2nd Wave Feminism course and I finally found out that this is actually 100% true? Until the Reagan campaign and associated Republican politicians tried to find another social issue to sway Southerners, especially Southern women, in their favor, abortion was not a primary issue for churches. It was only when feminists started mobilizing and, as a result, many institutions such as the Catholic church tried to mobilize against them that churches started advocating against abortion. Abortion did not become an issue of morality for the right until the 70s. Before then, abortion was simply not discussed because most things relating to sex weren't publicly discussed. So no, according to popular belief, the argument that abortions are killing babies did not always exist, it was just an argument crafted when the Republican party needed another social group to oppress for political points
Of course it was Reagan
Why’s it always Reagan?
