✖ II —Deep and surprisingly expressive obsidian hues observed Shisui with an almost curious glint dancing in them, watching the other male who always seemed to catch the youthful raven one way or another - Shisui simply had a knack for that. It was rare for the prodigy to show emotions, if any at all, this only happened when Itachi was around people he held dear or considered friends, and even then, the sable-haired male still held back, though with Shisui it was something else entirely.
❝ Are you going to tell me why you decided to drag me out here? Did you do it to escape paperwork? ❞
He probably wasn’t far off with that assumption, but who knew what was going through his cousin’s mind at times, even with Itachi’s highly intelligent brain, he still had no idea.
and as expected, his plan was foiled. as he's leading, his hands as laced ever so delicately behind his back, as if he's feigning innocence. he'd start whistling if he didn't think it would give him away too much. of course, shisui was a very responsible young man he just... enjoyed spending his time elsewhere, away from his desk filled with overdue paperwork. he'd get it done! just not at this moment.
eventually he comes to a stop and turns to the younger boy, raising a fist to his temple and sticking his tongue out a bit. playful? oh, very. he needed to set the stage before he pounced and did something that would be expected.
" me? escape paperwork? now, why would i ever do that? i don't think i've ever avoided my paperwork! so don't throw around such ludicrous assumptions! "
