an update

Hi! long time no see, its definitely been a while! I'm not completely sure yet why I am making this post, I might take it down later after I inevitably overthink it. I think I wanted to give some sort of update, so, I AM ALIVE!! This account has in many ways been left abandoned, but I never once forgot about it.

I created this account about 4 years ago, when I was 16, in high school, in a global pandemic. I'm 20 now, I'm entering my third year of college, and I dont build as much as I used to. My life has gotten considerably more complicated, but I can say with confidence that I am happier. I still come back to this account every so often to look at it, like its a time capsule. I had so much crazy shit happening in my life when I was posting on it, and creating these builds became a way for me to escape. I know that might sound a bit silly, but when I would make them I could pretend I was someone else, that I was somewhere else. It allowed me to explore different stories and worlds, and I am so thankful that there was a community of people who were receptive to that.

Again, I'm not really sure why I am saying all this, I think I am just feeling a bit nostalgic, which again, sounds silly because I am only 20. But, I love that 16 year old girl, and I love the weird art she made.

I think I am going to try building again, and from the bottom of my heart, really thank you to all the people that took the time to support that 16 year old kid. (i really hope this wasn't too sappy and i apologize for the overuse of commas)

I just take in-game screen shots and then add shadows and lighting in photoshop (using gaussian blur) and then I add the outline and backdrop also in photoshop. my last step is to then edit with filters and stuff in vsco:)

thank you, thats so nice:)) i dont play on console so im not completely sure(?) but nearly all my builds are up as both tray files and the gallery, so you should be able to download them from the gallery

Hi! I love all of your builds so much! They are cute, and cozy and filled with so much detail <3 Do you have some favourite sources for build cc that you use a lot? As far as I can tell a lot of it is from the game, but I was just wondering :)

thank you so much, im glad you like all the details!! i actually dont use any build cc, the only cc i use is for cas:) everything i use for building are objects from in-game(with debug ofc) i might venture into build cc later but for now im sticking to base game

hey, I really love your builds and downloaded the fairy village tray files but it doesn't show up in my game, do i need to download something else?

oh im sorry that’s happening! im really not that tech savvy when it comes to sims files and downloads so im not totally sure how to fix that. maybe theres a pack youre missing, or theres a mod or cc conflicting with the download? im really sorry i cant be of more help:(, ill look into it and see if theres anything i can do from me end.

in there anyone that might know what the issue is/how to fix it?

I don't have access to Sims rn so I can't check but I was wondering if when you build your dollhouse builds, do you post them on the gallery with full walls or do you post them as they're seen in your Tumblr posts?

thank you! I post my builds exactly how they are pictured in my instagram/tumblr posts, so the placement of all the build items and walls are the same in the downloads as they are in the posts. I really only build for aesthetics and enjoyment, soo that makes essentially all my builds pretty non-functional unfortunately:( Occasionally I will make builds that are exclusively exterior or both interior and exterior and those can be downloaded and played with in-game:))

Hi! I believe the build you’re referring to is the one I posted directly after the apartments, which is now available as a tray file in my “cottage living inspired builds” folder and is named “cherry house” :) (if you can’t download it as a tray file for whatever reason i’ll be posting it to the gallery soon)
