Divers catch footage of a rare sea creature, the siphonophore. These creatures can be as long as 40 meters. They belong to a group of animals that include the jellyfish & coral. They have dangling stinging tentacles that are used to capture small sea creatures such as shrimp. They also have spikes in their mouth to keep gelatinous prey from escaping. (Video) (Information)

Goblin Shark

First described in 1898, the goblin shark had already been known to Japanese fishermen, who called ittengu-zame, tengu being a mythical goblin with an extremely long nose that looked a bit like Pinocchio, except like Jareth it kidnapped children instead of teaching them not to lie. The shark, which grows up to 12.5 feet long, swims at depths of over 4,000 feet and remains poorly understood, though with each new specimen we’re building a better picture of its incredible adaptations to the deep-sea lifestyle.

What if a Black Dog hears a Banshee? Or a Banshee sees a black dog?

What if a black dog walks into a hollow and sees a banshee, and then the banshee screams when she sees the dog?

Do they both die? And if a human blunders in does it die twice? Or is it a double negative and it lives forever…?

Unless it’s the clan banshee for the dog, no it won’t die. I’m not sure if the banshee would even be visible to the dog.

Well it is a dog, and a supernatural hound at that. So as much as dogs can detect the supernatural, it wouldn’t really be stupid to presume something like this has über dog-senses. Also it wouldn’t necessarily need to see the Banshee, so much as hear her, and the Banshee see it.
