oh yea just throwing it out there but. if u are a beginning digital artist PLEASE i am BEGGING you to experiment with different methods of making your drawings because i see so many of yall suffering for no reason using what you’re taught because you don’t know to try a different way. like SO MANY PEOPLE people make jokes about how much worse their lineart looks from their sketch and how much of a pain it is to do lineart… if that’s you, then, don’t do lineart! just clean up your sketch a bit, or keep the bits from the sketch that you like the most and only do a separate layer for the things that really need fixing, or just paint right onto it!! endless possibilities. if u keep having troubles trouble with layers? u don’t need them, just merge them and keep going. better at sketching traditionally than digitally? take a picture of ur sketch and draw on top of it. there is no One Right Way to do anything in art except what’s fun and satisfying for you. be free

If Hunter is that bloobfish-like person (I don't know if you know whO I mean, plus it's just a fandom theory?) Then why are so many portraits of him? He is on Hunter's cabin, The school and the maw (probably the portrait is even in more places??)

I think I know who you're talking about, but let's backtrack a bit. The first time we EVER get sight of a man with a sack on his head who looks suspiciously like the one the Hunter has is on this painting in the Lady's Quarters.

Now, the way he's standing immediately made me think of this other painting, but his bowtie and shirt reminded me of this third painting of this man who is seen in literally EVERY LOCATION OF LN 2.

Here's the original screenshot from the DLC, more specifically the Residence.

What I find interesting about this is the implication that the Hunter was so important to the Lady that she had to hang up a picture of him, like she did with some of her current employees, for example you can see the Granny and the second Chef.

Or maybe, she wasn't the one who hung his pictures there. What if the Hunter used to be a resident on the Maw? To add to that, what if he used to be one of the employees of the PREVIOUS Lady?

I'm a good 90% certain of the former question. I have to admit that maybe he wasn't an employee and could have been just a guest - but what we know is that he was a relevant figure in the LN world.

((Extra quick mini-theory that might be expanded later on: a lot of people pointed out that the kitchen where the Veronica song takes place looks the same as the one in the Hunter's cabin and while we know that the Veronica we see in LN 1 is an illusion, it doesn't mean that she always was. I have more thoughts on this one, but to keep it short, the Hunter might have been related to Veronica in some way (maybe husband and wife? Maybe siblings? I lean more on the former), and that could be why he's so relevant, being connected to a celebrity and all that jazz.))

Moving on. He presumably meets the Teacher and the Doctor on the Maw, and we know they both were there because they have paintings in the Lady's quarters.

Though, the connection the Hunter has with the Doctor seems deeper than the one he has with the Teacher, see as several pieces of mannequins similar can be found in the Hunter's cabin. They are pretty similar in their... interests, if we can call them that. The Hunter practices taxidermy on people turning them into dead abominations and the Doctor does his surgery on his patients and turns them into living abominations.

Huh. Hunter might've even learned a thing or two from him, or viceversa? But seriously, that's a friendship that could work. Twisted and distorted but these details point to it's existance.

That lowkey looks like one of the Doctor's masks. It doesn't look like a face, but almost as if its being put on display if that makes sense. Maybe the Hunter liked it and wanted to take a picture of it as a memory?

maybe that could be it, though if you look at all the doctor's masks that are on display on the wall, they all look pretty human. this one looks less human and more fish/frog like so why would doctor make a mask that looks way less human than his other ones? but still, that is a valid theory nonetheless.
