Mo Fan stared dubiously at his computer screen. Beside him, Su Mucheng sneaked a glance. Except for a few mumbles and low-audible snorts, Su Mucheng seldom heard Mo Fan cursed loudly. Curious, she peeked into Mo Fan's computer screen. What she saw had left her bursted out of laughing.
"Glory developers have gone crazy!"
Mo Fan was still in disbelief. Well, why not. His Deception has transformed into a weird mix of Gothic lolita and traditional Japanese style. This was all because of the prize from the event hidden quest he had received before. Usually, special events like this one would give the players a lot of valuable equipments. Even though Happy players wouldn't need in-game acquired equipments--they used silver weapons--it was still fun to participate in Glory special events. Sadly, this event wasn't particularly rewarding for Mo Fan. He wanted to sue the developers.
Other Happy members became curious of what happened. Baozi was the first one to approach Mo Fan.
"Oh, hey, your character looks fancy!"
Mo Fan bemoaned his fate. If this was what he got after completing those ridiculous quests, he wouldn't do it in the first place.
Ye Xiu asked aloud--didn't even bother to leave his seat. Knowing Mo Fan would refuse to explain the tragedy that had fallen to his character, Su Mucheng answered in his stead.
"He received a Gothic lolita style skin."
Ye Xiu coughed. He almost slipped his cigarette. He had never bothered to hunt for skin before--unless it proved useful to his characters--so he didn't pay much attention. But now, after hearing Gothic lolita skin existed, he wondered what kind of skins that Glory had released before.
"Did you get it from the event hidden quest?"
Mo Fan clicked his mouse a few times. In a second, Ye Xiu received something in his mailbox. It was the Gothic lolita skin.
"Hey, you can't shove your trash to other people like that!"
Ye Xiu protested. Nevertheless, he accepted the gift.
"How does this even work..."
Ye Xiu muttered under his breath. He was pretty sure special skins were limited to a certain class so it would be useless anyway if he equipped it on his Lord Grim. But, lo and behold, Glory didn't disappoint.
Lord Grim could equip it.
Lord Grim had turn into a Gothic lolita.
It even suited him more since his weapon was an umbrella. Myriad Manifestation Umbrella transformed into a beautiful, frilly parasol. The white clad armor that enshrouded Lord Grim became black with gold accent. Even Lord Grim's face had a makeover. Ye Xiu dropped his cigarette. He couldn't look straight into his computer.
Everyone rushed into Ye Xiu's computer. Thunderous laughter filled Happy's practice room.
It was truly, truly a miraculous scene.
One day, the Gothic lolita Lord Grim would become one of the Glory most famous urban legend. Some swore they had seen it before--and yes, they said it was very ridiculous and cute at the same time--some had doubted the very existence of Gothic lolita skin. Blue River saw it once and he wanted to believe it was just a summer fever. The only one who knew about the truth was, of course, the Happy players. None of them would ever let it die and they would always tactfully teased Ye Xiu whenever the opportunity arised.
