Digimon Adventures 02
I finally finished this piece after pulling it out of my dusty wip file folder 4 years ago. Digimon Adventures 02 was my second favorite season in the franchise, and I remember watching it before school at 7am. I loved Armadillomon/Armadimon the most in this season. His Japanese voice is so cute too!
I had a lot of fun making this!
Made in Sai/CSP (about 7 hours)
Digi-crest symbols are from both DecaTilde and Xuza. Thank you! :)
happy pride month for it/its users, polyamorous people, xenogenders, non-transitioning trans people, and other "weird" identities. btw
the postal service names their shit exactly like how a 16 y.o. names angsty fanfic
Explain.
try and tell me literally any one of these would not fit above a short story about two wholly random men from the MCU fingering each other, or possibly 12 chapters of one or more characters from a CW show being in high school while having a photogenic but terminal kind of cancer. try.
ok so i want to say in hindsight i think i could probably have been clearer
Tried to reblog this post:
but Tumblr refused to let me for some reason.
Anyway, I’ll just show you what I tried to write here:
Also, this is not a hypothetical.
This is a real scenario that is happening now
Which is why people whose brains literally cannot let them lie need a way to hack the meat computer to keep people alive
There is one very important thing I need people without major dietary restrictions to understand: the distress caused by allergies, celiac disease, and other food restrictions is largely not about the food.
Do I miss some foods I can't eat anymore without getting sick? Sure, but that's not what really bothers me. What bothers me is being excluded from a huge portion of human social life of which food is a crucial component. What bothers me is the stress and social stigma of trying to figure out what I can safely eat. What bothers me is the amount of extra work and cost that is required of me to identify, obtain, and prepare safe foods. What bothers me is people treating my needs like a nuisance, as though I chose to be like this - as though their brief inconvenience to check an ingredients list is unreasonable, when I deal with this every day of my life forever.
I don't miss the food that much. I miss not having to worry about what I eat. I miss freedom. I miss when trying new foods and new restaurants was fun instead of a minefield. I miss not having to plan my entire life around the need for safe foods.
Food is such a basic human need, and a lot of people don't really need to think about it. When your danger foods can be anywhere and everywhere, suddenly your entire life revolves around avoiding them, and it massively sucks. You get used to it and it's not a big deal most of the time, but then you go to a new restaurant, or your office has a potluck, or you've been invited to a party and suddenly it feels just as miserable and exhausting as it ever has.

GHANA 29 MAY 2026 Ghana is legalising the wiping of its LGBT+ population. The world is silent.
On 29 May 2026, Ghana's Parliament passed a law criminalising LGBT+ people, their allies, their advocates, and anyone who refuses to look away. It has been two days. Not one major government has issued a statement. Not one international institution has picked up the phone loud enough for anyone to hear. This is what abandonment looks like. It does not always come with a announcement. Sometimes it just looks like silence on a weekend while people's lives get dismantled. The UK is about to host Ghana's President at an investment summit in London. The EU has active partnerships with Accra. The IMF has an ongoing programme with Ghana. The African Union exists. The UN exists. And yet the loudest sound coming from any of them right now is nothing. LGBT+ Ghanaians are not a talking point. They are people who woke up on Friday to a parliament that voted to make them criminals. They are people who are right now calculating whether they are safe, whether their landlord will use this law, whether their employer will, whether their family will. That calculation is happening in real time while the world decides whether this is worth a statement. The world is silent. That silence is a choice. And history will record who made it. knowing that the past tense of "hang" is "hanged" when it's a method of execution can be very entertaining because you'll be watching a horror movie and someone goes "local legend says a woman was hung in these woods" and you're like "👀 good for her I guess"
"damn I'm crying over an insect" "why am I having such strong feelings over how the sky looks" "it's weird how happy this small thing made me feel" THAT'S BECAUSE YOU LIVE HERE!!!! you live on this earth. everything all the time is an experience, no matter how common or mundane. this world is unique. so are its small moments. it is good to enjoy a tiny thing. you love the world even at its smallest scale.
I think the thing that annoys me most about AI on a personal, day to day, level is what it has done to grammar checkers. If you've never done a lot of editing, or used to 5+ years ago but haven't really in the last couple years, I can't even begin to describe how fucking BAD this shit has gotten. And as an author it is EXHAUSTING.
I just want to catch spelling errors and accidental double spaces and repeated phrases and whenever I use the wrong too/to or affect/effect and shit. But no. They've shoved AI up the ass of every grammar checking software out there and now they all fucking suck and make the most random, obnoxious, nonsensical suggestions.
And yeah, I can ignore all the times it's trying to get me to cut out any semblance of my own voice, or shove things into the wrong tense, or make the most random suggestions on comma usage. But if it's getting all that WRONG, what is it just straight up missing that I SHOULD be correcting? What real spelling and grammar errors are still lurking in there?
Oh my fucking god yes, and not just in things like word or Google docs. My fucking phone autocorrected me to the WRONG YOUR in a text message yesterday and I went on a good long tear about this to the recipient of said text message. I hate it. I hate it so much.
Exactly! It's literally just about everywhere you might type something now. It's not like Google where you can just choose to use another search engine or something. It's just THERE.
This is why I've gone to turning off all spell check and editing 100% manually. I've gotten much faster at typing and much better at spelling since making the change to not use predictive text or spell checking, and I'm never bogged down by unreliable bs that doesn't originate in my own head (plenty of unreliable bs to contend with there as it is).
Proud of you for breaking away from it! The thing is, we shouldn't have to. We HAD a perfectly good system that was literally just a dictionary and grammar rules plugged into the system. It worked great. And now AI has taken that away from us.
sorry theres so many of them

United Airlines Flight 232 was a regularly scheduled United Airlines flight from Stapleton International Airport in Denver to O'Hare International Airport in Chicago, continuing to Philadelphia International Airport in Philadelphia, United States. On July 19, 1989, the DC-10 (registered as N1819U) serving the flight crash-landed at Sioux Gateway Airport in Sioux City, Iowa, after suffering a catastrophic failure of its tail-mounted engine due to an unnoticed manufacturing defect in the engine's fan disk, which resulted in the loss of all flight controls. Of the 296 passengers and crew on board, 112 died during the accident,[a][3][4] while 184 people survived. Thirteen passengers were uninjured. It was the deadliest single-aircraft accident in the history of United Airlines.[b][5][6] Despite the fatalities, the accident is considered a good example of successful crew resource management, a new concept at the time. Contributing to the outcome was the crew's decision to recruit the assistance of a company check pilot, on board as a passenger, to assist controlling the aircraft and troubleshooting of the problem the crew was facing.[1]: 76 A majority of those aboard survived; experienced test pilots in simulators were unable to reproduce a survivable landing. It has been termed "The Impossible Landing" as it is considered one of the most impressive landings ever performed in the history of aviation.[7][8][3]
On the 19th of July 1989, a United Airlines DC-10 bound for Chicago was rocked by a massive explosion…

Good on her to not only have a clear goal at that age, but to clearly have gotten her parents on board with helping her get the education she needs to achieve it.
truly the end goal is not "my close friends aren't annoyed by me and it's all in my head, they're my friends and they love me", it's "sometimes I do annoy my close friends, just as the people I love most will also annoy me sometimes, because this is normal, and we will continue to stay friends, and they're not going to want to immediately cut me out of their life if I do something annoying once in a while"
