My ancestors, watching me dump an entire stick of cinnamon, two cloves, an allspice berry, and a generous grating of nutmeg into my tea, sweetened with white sugar and loaded with cream, while I sit in my clean warm house surrounded by books, 25+ outfits for different occasions, and 6 pairs of shoes, in a building heated so well I have the windows open in mid-autumn:

Well, I just spent the better part of my morning dictating notes to my phone only to find out Google has yet to enable auto-transcription from Spanish. Now, I have to sit down and listen to myself rambling about discursive traditions and cursing at the coffee maker because the transcript makes no damn sense.

Been cross stitching as one of my quarantine hobbies. I'm working on this piece for a friend of mine who is a HEMA instructor. It will read "Verlorene Haufen. Bring a longsword". In retrospect, "Bring a Zweihänder" would have read better but the text is set.
