*there’s a loud banging inside Happys head, like a headache but louder, accompanied by a voice, just as loud* HEY, YOU IN HERE?
*she was cowering under a tree in the forest, grabbing and clawing at her head. She couldn't feel her claws due to being half dead, but her head was still pounding*
BY THE GODS, SHUT UP!
Oh, you are! Hello. We have a job to do, given to us by a weird blob man in a sewer. You weren’t awake for it, so I accepted for the both of us!
What? What job? W-What do you mean you accepted it? Why?!
Well, he could re-animate corpses to walk around, so I didn’t exactly want to say no! Anyway, we need to go to Hell and put the vial in your pocket in a river or something. You don’t mind taking a quick adventure do you?

Oh, you are! Hello. We have a job to do, given to us by a weird blob man in a sewer. You weren’t awake for it, so I accepted for the both of us!
A low voice echoes through the sewer around Wrath. It chuckles softly; a sound not unlike a drowning human, then says “Oh, I’m so glad you could make it. You know, of all the sins, you were always my favorite.”
*they look around for whoever is speaking* Hello? Who are you? I’m flattered I guess, but you aren’t like, a crazy fan right? A lot of my fans are murderers, and I literally just got this body, so I’d rather not lose it immediately
It laughs again. “No, no, I wouldn’t say that. I’m just someone who needs a favor. It’s the least you can do after I helped you out of that grave, isn’t it?”
Well, technically, this guy helped me out *they nudge the dead guy with their foot* but I assume he was working under you, or was you, so what’s the favour?
“Hmm.” It hums. “You’re smarter than you look.”
The voice’s owner finally makes himself known, slinking out of the shadows. He’s tall, with a round head and perfectly white eyes. Beyond that, he seems to be formless. A large mass of viscous, black fluid.
“It’s fairly simple. Even you shouldn’t have difficulty with it.”
*they didn’t seem particularly impressed by his form, but maybe more surprised. Of course, not many normal humans would choose to reside in a sewer, so they were expecting something at least a little abnormal* That’s fucking rude, I’m good with things and tasks! It’s Sloth you wanna worry about, idiot rarely even wakes up.
Bast sighs. “All I ask is that you take this vial and pour it into the waters of hell. Do you think you can manage that, or should I go and speak with Envy?”
As he speaks, a hand seems to emerge from his form, holding a small, glass vial filled with black liquid. It offers the vial to Wrath.
“It’s the least you can do for the one who saved you.”
… I’m not entirely sure you expect me to get to hell, but sure, I’ll try my best. *they take the vial* Also, I doubt you’d be able to find Envy, they haven’t left the void for a while.
“I think you misunderstand.” Bast grabs Wrath’s wrist. “You will pour this into the waters of hell, or so help me I will put you back where I found you. Am I making myself clear?”
I don’t think you understand who you’re talking to. *her eyes glow red* I am doing this for you because I don’t want to owe you one, not because I’m afraid of you. Am I making myself clear?
“Crystal.” Bast backs off, smiling. “I trust you can find your way back.” He waves a hand dismissively and starts to slink off back into the sewers. “Have fun on your quest,” he says as he vanishes out of sight.
Thanks…*they leave and climb back out of the sewer, squinting again* now, how the fuck do I get to hell?

From six feet above, on the ground in the graveyard, wrath can hear a sort of shambling footsteps, followed by the sound of dragging metal. They come to rest above Happy’s grave, then begin to dig.
*Wrath pauses, having been screaming and pushing against Happy’s coffin, wondering who the fuck is digging up their grave* Hello?!
There’s no response. The hole just gets deeper, slowly revealing the coffin.
*Wrath kicks it open, and jumps up, only to immediately fall over, as the body they’re currently inhabiting hasn’t had to use any of its muscles or strength for a while. They look up, squinting in the light, looking for whoever dug them up* Who’s there?
A . . . Human stares at them, holding the shovel. Its face is blank and unreadable, and its arms hang limply at its sides now that they’re no longer in use.
Who the fuck are you? I mean, thanks for getting me out of there, but what do you want?
Its hands cover its mouth for a moment, then its eyes, giving the sensation that it’s trying to tell you something.
No mouth? No eyes? Are you blind? Mute? Is that what you’re saying?
It nods—probably. It’s head is kind of lolling to the side after the movement, so there might just be something wrong with its neck. It gestures for Wrath to follow, then starts to shamble off into the night.
*they follow* so… what do you want? Why are you digging up graves in the middle of… actually, I dont know where we are.
It doesn’t answer, continuing to shamble towards a city street, approaching an open manhole. It walks as if it doesn’t see it, and falls down into the hole, still without making a sound of its own.
*they rush over* oh- are you okay? That was stupid of you, look where yo- oh, right, blind.
It stands up, walking farther into the sewer, almost unaffected by the fall. After a moment it turns and stares directly at Wrath. It beckons again.
Aw, but it’s all gross and stuff down there… fine, I guess. *they jump down, blinking* oh, that’s a better light level, going from coffin to sunlight isn’t fun.
It walks to a junction where two lines connect to one another. Then it collapses to the ground, like a puppet whose strings have been cut.
*they startle at the sudden noise of them hitting the floor* Jesus Christ- um, dude, are you ok?
