How long has it been since you had to put on the suit and before you filmed spiderman? Six or seven years at least, maybe even longer. I would never imagined I would be doing it again. I kind of closed that chapter and kind of give it a kiss. I said thank you and became a fan again.

no okay i actually can’t stop thinking about the scene where tobey and andrew are apologizing to tom about losing may and peter three says “i’m sorry. i’ve got some understanding of what it’s like—” and peter one says “no, no please don’t tell me that you know what i’m going through.” because of all the people in the world, the two that actually do understand what mcu peter is going through are peter two and peter three. they understand his pain, they understand his grief, they understand his rage, and they understand his heartache. because they’ve been him before. because they are him. but it’s the fact that tasm peter says “okay” in response to mcu peter saying that he doesn’t understand, and he doesn’t try to push the issue. he accepts the fact that despite being the same person and going through similar things, grief is different for everyone. even if you are the same person. he doesn’t try to argue that “no, actually i do know what you’re going through because i lost my uncle and my girlfriend” because that’s not what peter needs to hear. he needed support, and the “okay” shows support in the fact that peter is allowed to feel whatever he needs to feel— and peter two and three are there to support him in any way that they can. there was just something about it that felt so real and honest and idk. i love them a lot.
