It’s just a bad day, not a bad life 👌😋💕 #motivation #inspiration #quote #tumblr #love #ItWillGetBetter #finnishgirl #finlandssvensk #SpoilerAlert #cute
I was struck by her looks. Effortlessly lovely in comfortable beige, cover girl curls gently framing her face. Then she opened her mouth. My jaded guard was shown the door, and I fell back into relaxed awe. She didn’t prattle on about nothing, harvest spite, or breathe contempt over her Teavana. She flowed with this pretty chi that I immediately wanted to bask in. Sitting one table down from me in the bustling coffee shop, this girl, who for all outward appearances could have been a model, sounded like a preacher. A good one. A peaceful one. Her words were cultivated in calm, such a contrast to the clanging we’re all accustomed to hearing. She spoke of positivity, communicating, harnessing control in a healthy way. I should have cursed my own brokenness or felt shame in cloudy perceptions but instead, she lifted me up. A total stranger (that I was unabashedly eavesdropping on…) brought a little joy into my day. It isn’t blindness we should come to find in others’ light. It’s brightness.

After U: Union 1 - 1 Crew SC (5-3 PKs)
Some thoughts after last night’s victory over Columbus Crew SC in the IMG Suncoast Pro Classic:
Fernando's for real
If Union fans had any questions about Venezuelan striker Fernando Aristegueita's ability and effectiveness, the three goals he’s scored in his first two halves of soccer with the team provided some answers. While two of those goals came against lowly London United, his masterful header against Columbus Crew SC was something Philadelphia fans have been dying to see from a legitimate striker for the past couple seasons. Fernando could be a star for the Union.
Already Gellin'
The Union front office took some flack from fans after a quiet (to put it nicely) offseason period, but the February loans of Aristeguieta and defender Steven Vitoria filed two big holes in the U's starting XI. Having both on the field in the preseason has been an enormous boon for this team, and it seems the newcomers are fitting in quickly.
M'Bohli is M'Better
Goalkeeper jokes were commonplace for the Union last season, but with Zac Macmath on loan to Colorado for the season, the starting job undoubtedly belongs to Rais M'Bohli, who showed flashes of brilliance for Algeria during Africa's Cup of Nations. While he made some questionable choices and mistakes last season, his strong play on international duty and this preseason leave me to believe he'll be far better this year.
PK’s for All?
Philadelphia's win came thanks to a fantastic series of penalty kicks converted after regulation. Five straight to be exact. However, in the 72nd minute, Conor Casey put up a dud of a penalty attempt that could have iced a 2-1 victory for the Union. Conor converted his lone penalty attempt last season, but the Union may need a more solid secondary penalty-taker in 2015.

This is what I want the weather to feel like right now. And one of the two people I want to spend a day like this with.
