the thing is, I do think that Miyano is NOT equipped to deal with Hirano's aroaceness, especially when he's still stewing in comphet juice. BUT i think it could make them a really funny slowburn.
miyano who just. continues seeing hirano as #1 real life moe blorbo. hirano who, for reasons far beyond his own understanding, not only puts up with this but actively enjoys miyano's company anyway AND. mayhaps. lets miyano get away with WAY too much. miyano who becomes just so comfortable because hirano lets him get away with so much, and it's not like this MEANS anything. he just thinks hirano would be a good uke. he's just projecting otaku fantasies onto him. sure it feels more weird with his other friends, he doesn't want to do that, so why is it fine with hirano?? ANYWAY don't think about that too hard. it doesn't mean anything because miyano isn't gay he's just a fudanshi. don't worry about it.
miyano getting bolder and actively nudging hirano into doing things. kabedons hirano and asks "would this make your heart race if a puppy dog seme did it??" and hirano is like "i mean you surprised me, but that's not the same thing" miyano pulling his own version of the "can we try doing a lap pillow?" and it's Scientific curiosity okay, it's otaku curiosity. that's all. and the crazy thing is that almost without noticing hirano is being inoculated against being touched until he's totally comfortable with it (at least with miyano) because Both of them are going "well it's not like this MEANS anything"
and they do this for 10+ years until their friends are so so sick of it
