can you say, long shot?
Last year I read a Danger Days/Killjoys fic that appears to be scrubbed from the internet.
basic premise:
After Kobra and Poison get out of Battery City, for the first time he had an opportunity to discover (among other things) his own sexuality.
Anyway, he finds that his sexuality is "sadist" and "snuff". There's some ambiguity about why he felt this way, but the fic doesn't deep-dive into that.
The plot happens. Poison is kidnapped/tortured. His torture/abuse is broadcast back for the others to agonise about.
Later his rape/murder is as well. Kobra gets off on it.
Then he kills himself, because he can't live in a world where this can happen.
unless I'm mixing two fics up, it is "the kind of war we're having lately," originally posted to the Killjoys kink meme. I read it on AO3, but alas.
I could wax poetic about how much I love this fic, as well as my regret at not saving a copy. Lesson learned. But if anyone happens to know this fic, or have a copy, then I would be eternally grateful if you would share it with me.
