Why is it so hard for me to write just for me? I know I don't need anything I write to be good or popular. I know that I like to write. I know it brings me some sort of joy to string words together, even if my skills suck. But when I sit down, I think, "Oh, this has been done before," or "What's the point if this is just going to go nowhere," or "It will take so long, and you're not good enough, so editing will be hard," or "You're not smart enough or creative enough anyway." And this isn't a motivational post. I'm simply stuck on overcoming this feeling, which means I haven't even written anything worth nothing at all.

Anyway, the comic was born out of

my thoughts about Caine's model lacking many essential facial features (as if he was never intended to show any emotions) and yet him being literally the most expressive character in the circus despite everything.

me being low-key obsessed with the implications episode 7 left us with. Players questioning everything they've been told and Caine being in the center of it all.

I want them all to be healed and happy, little guy absolutely included, but man the situation is rough, and the odds are against us
