currently thinking about how emily and hotch both wanted to do good in the world but also have a warm house and a loving family to come home to

and then the show ended with hotch having a family but being adrift from everything he loved about his career

and emily having a successful career but putting everybody else's needs before her own and never finding the time to make her own family.

and now i can't stop thinking about how tragic that those were supposed to be their happy endings. we're supposed to believe that hotch is happy without his team and emily is happy with the team being the only real thing in her life.

when the entire time, they would have gotten exactly what they wanted if the writers had let them turn to each other instead of pulling away and living seperate lives.

Piccola riflessione non richiesta e controcorrente da parte di una falsa pallavolista mai andata oltre la terza divisione: seguendo questo europeo anche dai vari social, ho letto più volte: "ehmmmma si vede troppissimo che manca lo zzzzar" che apprezzamenti su questa squadra di atleti, molti dei quali panchinari (?) alle olimpiadi. Questo sestetto a me piace tanto, sono uniti, si sostengono e mentre giocano hanno una sorta di empatia di gruppo che si manifesta nel giocare con lo stesso atteggiamento. Nel bene e nel male eh, basta che uno si demoralizzi e vanno tutti e sei in stand-by: "depressione su campo" sudore su molten Polonia 2017. Però sono uniti, si conoscono ed hanno una fortissima intesa di gioco. Hanno fatto alcune cappelle che vabbé, lasciamo stare, ma il dialogo e l'intesa si vede tutta, ognuno sa cosa vuole e cosa aspettarsi dall'altro.  Manca il top scorer, ma non manca il top leader - perché tutto possiamo dire dello zar, tranne che sia il leader emotivo che trascina il gruppo. Sinceramente sento più la mancanza in campo di Juantorena da questo punto di vista. Tutto sto pippone sarebbe per dire che è vero, probabilmente con lo zar sarebbe tutto più facile per la quantità di punti diretti, ma dai è l'europeo ed è bellissimo vedere un gruppo giovane di atleti che resteranno per un bel po' nella nazionale crescere in qualità e soprattutto spirito di squadra, senza la stella di punta che -passatemiilterminenonlinciatemi- rubi la scena. È un po' come andare ad un concerto di una band in cui il frontman è assente e rendersi conto che i musicisti da soli sono in grado di gestire alla grande lo show; anche se tutti sono consapevoli che non è la stessa cosa lo spettacolo rimane una figata.
