Escape in the city Chinese garden in Montreal. Constructed in 1990, the unique Chinese garden is a collaboration between The Parks Department of the city of Shanghai and the Montreal Botanical garden. Designed by Le Weizhong and based on four main elements: plants, water, stones and architecture. The best or most popular time to visit the garden is in the spring time when all the beautiful blossoms come out, even though I like the eerie feeling of visiting the garden in the winter when the contrast between the architecture and the white surroundings is very pronounced.
