Confession:
"if sasha wasnt a homophobic coward she is she would let us matchmake noah/lester and(if you dont romance them) yan/dmitry and anna/kira(or anna/anhea bc sasha killed kira for whatever reason)"
I'm sorry but while I wholeheartedly agree that hsr author is homophobic because wtf has Anna's route turned into I think we're also going to have to acknowledge just how homophobic the ru stans can be I'm saying this because a couple of weeks on the other app seven hearts stories you get to pair up two other male li if you're not romancing them and the amount of homophobia and biphobia from the stans were disgusting and I'm 100% there's a huge overlap between shs players and rc players so the same reaction would occur on rc...đŹđŹ
Can I just scream into the void for a second? Because everything is so goddamn annoying right now. Every single app is just drowning in ads and bullshit memberships. You can't even open something for three seconds without getting slapped with a pop-up: âPay $10.99 a month to skip ads and unlock premium features!â Likeâwhat even is the free version at this point? Itâs basically digital purgatory. Might as well throw a paywall on the whole thing and be honest about it.
This past week, I downloaded a bunch of apps to try and get my life in orderâorganizers, trackers, planners, you name itâthinking, âCool, time to finally get my shit together.â But nope. Canât do anything without a subscription. Not even the fucking clock app is safe. YouTube? Sub. Spotify? Sub. A damn to-do list? Subscription. Like, what the actual fuck is going on? When did basic functionality become a luxury?
And hereâs a theoryâa game theory, if you will. What if this is all the high priestess doing? the naked lady Iâm like 70% sure sheâs the high priestessâ dead sister, now using vereya to communicate with Lada. That connects back to Milonâs so-called confession. We all know thatâs probably false. But before he confessed, he told Lada heâd do anything for the one he loves most. If that person is Siannaâthe high priestessâ granddaughterâthen maybe the high priestess used that love to manipulate him into confessing, hoping Lada would drop the case. But that didnât work either.
I'm like 80% sure that's the high priestess is going to die in the next update or at least beginning of season 3 and just before she dies we're going to find out what really happened to vereya and whether or not she has something to do with it..
Honestly, Iâm starting to believe that the High Priestess has been behind everything from the very beginning. If my theory is correct and she had something to do with Verayaâs death, then itâs possible sheâs been quietly manipulating events all alongâeven influencing Volot, her own grandson and elder. After all, sheâs someone everyone listens to and trusts.
I have a strong feeling that everything has been building up to something sheâs been planning, and that plan is finally going to unfold in the Season Finale. Interestingly, this reminds me a lot of the Season 2 finale of Heavenâs Secret, which was also written by Alice. Maybe the High Priestess is playing a similar role to fenecioâperhaps trying to revive something ancient⌠possibly even the gods themselves.
So here I amâcurled up in bed, a half-finished bag of chips beside me, soda fizzing softly on my nightstand, and that familiar warmth in my chest as I scroll through one of my favorite fanfictions. The one I read years agoâGod, how long has it been? Five years? Half a decade? And somehow, here I am again, back in this same universe, rereading it just because⌠I wanted to feel something. To remember.
And it hit meâI've been in love with this ship for years. Through so much change, so many seasons of life, theyâve stayed. My girls. My Sheilas. My ride-or-dies. These characters, this worldâthey're carved into my heart like initials on an old tree.
Thereâs something so comforting about fandom. About knowing you can always come back. That no matter how long it's been, the fanfics are still there, waiting patiently like an old friend with a knowing smile. You dive back in and suddenly, you're not just readingâyouâre remembering. You're seventeen again, or twenty-one, or whatever age you were when it first hit you that these characters meant everything.
It's magic, really. How fictional people can feel more real than half the folks youâve met in life. How a story someone wrote in a fit of passion at 3am can still undo you, years later. How this loveâthis quiet, stubborn loveânever fades. Just softens, deepens, becomes a part of you.
And I think thatâs what makes fandom so special. It's not just about obsession or escapismâitâs about finding a home in a world that doesnât exist, and somehow, feeling more you than ever inside it.

Something Iâve been noticing more and moreâespecially after seeing a recent Twitter threadâis the increasing erasure of Black women in media, particularly in YA shows. And I know, I know⌠itâs Twitter, thereâs always some discourse going on. But this one hit close to home.
Someone pointed out how a new YA series (I believe it's an Amazon Prime show dropping soon) had a poster featuring three white girls, two white boys, and one ambiguously Black boy. No Black girl in sight. Naturally, people were asking the obvious: Where are the Black girls? The response? Crickets. Or worse.
One person commented something like, âIf there is a Black girl, sheâll probably be a disposable love interest,â and Amazon hid her comment. Which honestly proves her point.
What really disappointed me, though, was the pushbackânot from white folks, but from other Black people. People trying to âproveâ the original poster wrong by dropping screenshots of six shows with Black female leads. Except⌠four of those shows are cancelled, one ended years ago, and the last one is stuck in development hell. Thatâs not representation, thatâs a graveyard.
When someone called them out on it, they replied with the tired line: âWell, yâall donât show up for these shows, thatâs why they get cancelled.â But thatâs just not true. We do show up. We watch, we hype them, we create fan art, we tweet, we organize streaming partiesâwe do everything weâre supposed to do. But when streaming platforms donât promote these shows or bury them under a thousand other things, what are we supposed to do? Sometimes, even when they do get a good amount of attention, they still get axed.
And itâs really disheartening to see so many Black people dismiss Black women who raise valid concerns. But honestly, itâs not surprising. A lot of us have been conditioned to accept the status quo. Weâve been taught not to expect more than a couple of shows here and there. And if we get even one half-decent romcom with a Black woman lead, weâre expected to shut up and be gratefulâeven if itâs the only one for years.
This mindset is damaging. Weâre not asking for too muchâweâre asking for the bare minimum. Consistent, intentional representation that doesnât relegate Black girls to side characters, stereotypes, or afterthoughts.
We deserve better. And no, weâre not gonna stay quiet about it.
Sorry not sorry but I can easily gouge if a book is gonna be good or not if it starts with a page like this (and most of the time it's not good!)
I just finished replaying Heavenâs Secret for the first time in years, and honestly, it was such a nostalgic experience. From the screaming Vicky sprites to remembering just how much of a jerk Lucifer wasâand letâs not forget Malbonteâit definitely brought back memories.
Story-wise, it kind of holds up, but when you compare it to HSR, ABH, or even HS2, itâs clear that Heavenâs Secret had the weakest plot. Things didnât really start to get interesting until Season 3, which explains why a sequel was necessaryâthere were way too many unanswered questions left hanging.
Vicky as a character didnât have much going for her, to be honest. Compared to someone like Lane or even Audrey, who had their own complexities, Vicky just didnât stand out. And Lucifer? God, he was so annoying at first. He did get slightly better, though. I chose his path this time around because, if I remember right, the first time I played I was on his route before switching to Mal, so it was cool seeing things play out differently. Was also on the angels path as well instead of balance (which unfortunately means that I didn't get the harmony achievement đ)
Mimi and Dino were sadly sidelined by mid-Season 2, and Andy has always felt like background noise. And Loyâseriously, what was the point of adding him as a love interest? Like, why?
The worst part is, all these issues just get worse in Heavenâs Secret 2, which is frustrating. Still, Iâd rate the original story a 7.5 out of 10. It wasnât the strongest start, but itâs where everything began, so Iâve got to give it some credit.
So yeah, Love Fever was honestly a total letdown. Day 1 was a complete waste â the server kept crashing, nothing would load properly, and the whole thing was riddled with bugs. Day 2 was slightly better, but not by much. And Day 3? Still slow, still buggy. Up until the very last moment, I couldn't even enjoy the stories the way I was supposed to.
Youâd think that after the first Love Fever, the devs wouldâve learned and actually prepped their servers for the next one. But nope â back in the trenches we go. I just really hope that if theyâre planning to make this a recurring event, whether monthly or every two months, they actually take the time to get it right. Because this experience? Yeah⌠it kind of sucked.

Iâve never watched Industry before, but Iâve been thinking about starting it. Recently, though, I randomly came across a post about Harper, the one Black female character, and the unnecessary hate she getsâoften laced with thinly veiled racism. And honestly, I just had to roll my eyes because, of course, this is happening.
I was literally just talking to someone about the Vampire Diaries and the way Bonnie Bennett was treated. As the only Black female character, she was consistently sidelined and undervalued. And unsurprisingly, this pattern exists across other shows and fandoms. Itâs the same exhausting cycle: as a Black woman, youâre never allowed to simply exist alongside your white peers on equal footing.
When a white male character kills someone or ruins a life, itâs brushed offâif heâs attractive enough, people will even romanticize it. If a white female character does the same, she might get criticized, but ultimately, people move on. But if a Black woman does something immoralâregardless of how much worse her counterparts have beenâshe will never be allowed to live it down. It becomes a permanent stain on her character, something the fandom will weaponize against her forever.
Take Bonnie Bennett, for example. People hate her for being too self-righteous, too self-sacrificingâas if thatâs somehow worse than Damon abusing Caroline, or Stefan, Elena, and Caroline all going on murder sprees. No one holds those actions against them the way they do with Bonnie. Somehow, her being "too good" is more offensive than everyone else being outright terrible.
