Moon baby has grown so much in the past couple of months with her live dj sets on sanct.fm. We started to get curious about the dj and the sanct.fm, so we had to find out more about her
follow her: soundcloud twitter
Tell me about your name and what it means.
One day I felt like I wanted to name my future baby MOONBABY but then decided that I wanted to keep it for myself instead. It doesn’t mean a thing at all, except for that maybe I’m a Cancer, but that’s about it.
Do you believe that women are connected with the moon?
Yes. I believe that we all are! It emits intense energies that we are all susceptible too. Perhaps women are more susceptible to external energetic forces but I’m unable to confirm that for you.
If you could play a set anywhere in the world where would you play?
Well I would like to go play in London! I will be traveling there soon to live and to work for a little while so it would be nice to play music there as well.
When did you begin to dj? What gravitated you towards it?
Well, I don't really make music, I DJ, so I make sets and play shows. However, I only started doing this last summer so I haven't been doing this very long, but I have wanted to do it all my life. I had a DJ name for myself years and years ago (I used to call myself DJ SAWCE for no reason).
Who or what inspired you?
My inspiration is Tommy Kruise, because I really like his music and his DJ sets and the music he makes and I think he’s really cool and interesting.
Do you believe in perfection?
I don’t believe in objective perfection but I believe in believing things are perfect out of gratitude and love.
Where are you from?
I’m from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. And I currently reside here as well. It is such a lovely place to be and I love the river banks here.
Have you ever had a metaphysical crisis?
I think the majority of my interactions with the metaphysical have been positive! I think we are always in a state of wonder and curiosity and searching for answers but I don’t believe it to be in particular a state of crisis. If it is, it is mild and bearable and somewhat enjoyable in my opinion.
What is music to you?
Music is the expression of the human soul’s frequency state. Music can express both high frequencies and low frequencies but it often so enjoyable to us because as it has the power to raise the frequencies in ourselves (aka make us happier!).
Besides music what art forms interest you the most?
The form I personally indulge in the most often I’d say would be photography. Lately I’ve been experimenting a lot with film and toy cameras. I’m also really interested in making collages and edits in photoshop.
What do you do to bring peace to your mind when you’re feeling horribly negative?
I watch Teal Swan videos on YouTube.
What mix of yours is your favorite
My favorite mix is the promo mix I made with my teammate Kareful at sanct.fm. It was so stressful because I had to make it the greatest mix in the world (because I had to promote something with it, which was a weird concept). It was also the first time that anyone has ever sent me an unreleased track and it just made me the happiest person.
https://soundcloud.com/sanctfm/moonbaby-x-kareful-sanctfm-launch-mix
What is sanct.fm ? Can you explain your involvement?
Sanct.fm is a radio station that plays mixes from the underground internet music scene. Our focus right now is on a very unique sub-genre of what I believe to be trap (although not everyone would agree), that has developed predominantly through soundcloud. It is a very diverse scene and labeling it would be a huge injustice to a lot of people involved, however, there are some similar themes and sounds that can be heard throughout. The percussion arrangements of trap are fairly common, as well as beautiful synthesized and sometimes dreamy melodies. It also takes a lot after the sampling culture of hip hop.
As of right now we do shows every Sunday, however, we will be putting on special events on the station very soon! The first one will be an all girls night, where we will showcase all female producers and DJs. That will be on Thursday, June 4, so keep an eye out for it!
I am one of the three founders of this project alongside Kareful, a producer and DJ and Lucio, a matte painter who does the art, both from London, UK. I curate the shows, organize the schedules and help run our social media accounts. Mad Bae (formally Mad Kelse) has recently became a part of the admin team and she has been such a massive help, and I am so so so grateful for all that she has done for us.

Blooms is a great singer sonically making her way through London and soundcloud. TUT AND blooms have known each other for awhile. We have to take a step into her mind.
1. where do you currently reside and how has it affected your career?
I currently call London home but I have only been here for two months. Before that I was splitting my time between my family home in Ireland and my my friends sofas in London! My home in Ireland is in the middle of nowhere and London is so hectic. I think this combination definitely influenced the newer tracks. They're a little busier. I know London is better for my career. I work with some great people here. My band is here. I'm busy here and that is important for me. Spending time in Ireland is also so important to my writing though. I need that quiet time to reflect and feel safe and write with my guard down and if I didn't write I would not have a career!
2. how would you compare yourself to a flower?
Hmm, I like things clean and simple, minimal, no fuss so if i was a flower maybe I would be a daisy or something like that. Easy to miss maybe but still beautiful in it's own way.
3. who or what influences you?
People. People that I love or have loved. People who loved me. Heartbreak. My hometown probably influences me more than I care to admit but it's so empty and kind of sad and I think that will always appear in my music.
4. what song of yours are you most connected to?
Skin. I don't even really like playing it live but it was the first Blooms track that I wrote and it was the reason I wanted to start this project in the first place. I had just come home from spending a night with someone that meant so much to me and I was finally ready to admit that maybe, just maybe I loved him. It's cautious and timid and vulnerable and I think it just sums up what the whole Blooms sound is about.
5. what are your thoughts on the existence of spiritual beings?
You know that episode of The Simpsons where Mr. Burns comes out of the bushes looking like an alien? I believe in that.
6. five years ago did you think you would be where you are now in your music career?
Absolutely not. Five years ago I had convinced myself that I had failed and I had zero plans of ever writing again. I felt really low and I was just sort of getting on with life but I stopped dreaming for awhile.
7. whats the next step for blooms? you're playing shows now any new music on the way?
World domination, obviously! I am playing quite a few shows now which is exciting and terrifying. My new EP is almost finished and I am starting to play around with album ideas so there is a lot of music on its way.
8. how do you handle isolation? is it a positive or negative for you?
Someone once said to me that I consciously choose isolation and I absolutely agree with that person. I think I function better when I'm alone. Some people can't eat lunch alone or go to a movie alone and I find that so bizarre. It's probably not healthy to isolate myself so much but it works for what I'm doing and I'm not a complete hermit. I do go outside to get my heart broken from time to time!
9. 3 words that describe your music
Sad, Floaty, Dream-fest
10. what is your greatest struggle creatively?
Performing. It is not something that comes naturally to me and so before I go on stage I feel like I'm about to have a heart attack. I want to badly to be able to perform the songs for people and make them feel what i feel but at the moment it's a struggle
11. what influenced the name blooms?
I was originally called Looms but someone else had the name so I had to change it. I was working with the Producer of my first EP and he does a lot of photography. He had recently named a photo "In Bloom" after the Nirvana track and when he suggested "Blooms" it just sort of fit.
12. lastly share a message to the world.
Dream big xo

Madi Larson’s beautiful atmospheric sounds hit our ears like a siren. Her support has risen much since we found her in the abyss of soundcloud. We wanted to take a step into her life and let you all see what she is all about. follow her : twitter soundcloud facebook
3 years ago did you think you would be this far?
Not at all. I still think the reality of all that has happened hasn't even sunk in. There is so much more I want to do and improve on.
your voice is very atmospheric and the underlying emotions are so intriguing. where is it all coming from?
Well from inside me I guess. The experience of writing and singing is very personal to me and it feels really good to get those thoughts and emotions out.
every beautiful moon has a dark side. can you tell us how your dark side is incorporated into your music?
I experience different emotions and moods at different times. Music is how I can communicate those feelings. Sometimes I feel positive, other times I don’t. I just let out whatever has been on my mind
what piece of art (any form) do you have an emotional connection with?
There is this video on youtube, of birds flying in patterns in the air, set to Forgive by Burial. I just really love this song and video, and sometimes when I’m feeling stressed or down I just watch it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OVvJOeUdUs
what song of yours is your favorite?
I wouldn’t say I have a favorite, but the first song I ever uploaded on my soundcloud “forget it all”, which was produced and mixed by killer mantis, really means a lot to me
https://soundcloud.com/madi-larson/forget-it-all-prod-killer-mantis
what producers on soundcloud are your favorite?
Oh man, there is just so many amazing musicians on soundcloud… It’s impossible to make a list! I love Haven, Glo, Øfdream, basically all of lethe, 26carat, TWOS, YUME, MXRA, WTCHCRFT, Vacant, unforseen, Falls, LuQus uh I could go on for ages but I’ll just stop now aha
what is art to you?
Art is freedom.
do you believe we have souls? if so, why?
I do believe we all have a soul. I feel like I have a soul. People are so much more than just a mind and heart in the shell of a body.
what are your goals for this summer musically?
I am going to have a pretty busy summer, I’m going to school through July, but I am still working on lots of new music! Hopefully I can improve a lot with this vocal class I started taking
3 words describing your music
hm I think my music is calming, airy, and sincere

prime has grown so much in the past couple of months, gaining much support in the soundcloud world. We had to interview this interesting producer.

Soundcloud
your aesthetic is very interesting. what is solid white to you?
My aesthetic represents consistency. I consider myself a multi-genre producer but I try to produce every track to the best of my ability and I believe that my listeners will be able to appreciate any of the different types of styles I upload.
what is a perfect world to you?
A world where everyone is focused, hard-working, and beneficial to society in some way. I see too many people come out of my high-school and waste their lives away. I know that college isn’t for anyone but I encourage everyone to ask themselves what they can and want to contribute to the world and to go out and make it happen.
do you understand the existence of yourself?
When I hear “existence” I think of the state of continued being. Right now I am on a path for the next four years of my life but I am keeping an open mind because interests come and go and I fully accept that. However, I always see music being a part of my life.
how did you begin producing?
I took a class freshman year on MIDI production, I didn’t get very serious about it until senior year when I was finished with all of my college applications. Ever since then I’ve been experimenting with different styles and just sharing my work; It’s been a great 5 months so far.
who or what inspires you to create your art?
The $TEEZEBOY$, my parents, the IRL squad, but mostly myself.
if you could partake in any other art form what would you indulge yourself in?
I would definitely want to get back into skating. I stopped after middle school but my interest is creeping back and it would be interesting to see what I could still do with it.
how do your goals differ now from when you first began producing?
When I started producing I instantly wanted to produce for famous rappers and show all my friends. However now I am starting to do this for only myself. I no longer need collaborations to feel wanted because I am finally content with the products of solely my own work.
who is prime how did the name stick?
I do not try to have an alter-ego over the internet. However Prime is the creative side of myself that my real-life friends may never see. It is an allegory for my interest and studies in mathematics and a representation of my goal to always be the best I can be.
prime: of the best possible quality; excellent.
6 words that describe your music
Unique, diverse, consistent, pleasant, nostalgic, steezy.
how does the outside world (external sources) affect your world being?
We all want to admit that society does not affect how we think but we can’t. Our community influences a majority of our personality and thought process as we grow up. I am very fortunate to have grown up in a positive environment around focused individuals who inspired me to be creative and open-minded.
define beauty
Aesthetically pleasing, elegant, natural.
how would you save a kid who believes he isnt up to par and is giving up?
Do not let anyone else create a “par” for you, set your own standards and as long as you are content with yourself, whatever anyone else is doing should have no importance to you.
Do you believe in spirits? If so would you ever try to get in contact with them?
I am not religious, I do not believe in spirits but I do believe in fate and karma. A lot of my decisions are based on this belief. I can thank this mindset for keeping me out of trouble and making the most ethical decisions.
What if all you see through your eyes is a projection of your mind? How would you feel about that?
I actually think about this a lot, but I am so much more content believing that everyone else is thinking for themselves and going through their own lives. I get lonely pretty easily, I feel much more comfortable being surrounded by other people with the same mindset as myself and not being the center of attention. This is one of the main reasons that I am excited for University next year.
Foxwedding has been constantly rising in the world of soundcloud. After his collaboration with bones and WTCHCRFT people have shown so much love. His sinister songs create emotions we all hide from. We had to ask him questions.
follow him: soundcloud twitter
What inspires you to produce?
A) so many things.. the woods, my family, a lot of really obscure shit, but most importantly all of the talented musical and visual artists that I've been lucky enough to interact with over the years.
Have you ever put on a fox wedding if not where did your name come from
A)I haven't actually taken part in a 'fox's wedding' unfortunately... but the name stems from an Japanese legend that if it rains while the sun is shining; the foxes hold their wedding procession.. and if you happen to witness this procession as a human there are some very bad consequences.
What song of yours is a favorite
A)That's tough I'm pretty critical of my own music, my track Nalgene means a lot to me personally, though.
How did you feel when your song with wtchcrft and bones blew up?
A)I really felt blessed. That was the first track wtchcrft and I ever worked on and the whole situation was such a surprise, and fortunate. I'm just grateful I got to work with such gifted musicians.
How have you handles the increase in support?
A)It's crazy.. I never really imagined a day where strangers would be reaching out to me because my art was important to them personally, and that means so much to me. It also creates a healthy pressure within myself to keep putting out good music for these people who truly value it.
What in your life created the producer you are today? When did you begin?
A)I always had an ear for music, I played every weird instrument I could get my hands on as a kid. If I trace it back production-wise though I'd say it started when I discovered garageband or whatever when I was like 14. I started working with local hip-hop artists almost immediately initially just recording and eventually working on my own instrumentals, and it came really naturally. I remember working on 2pac remixes in like 9th grade all night long when I had school the next morning haha... I didn't know what I was doing yet but I knew I liked it.
How would you describe your music to someone in one sentence?
A)chernobyl dance party
Where does the sinister aesthetic come from?
A)I actually try to remain relatively positive in life, so I think in a sense my music becomes a good outlet for any of the darker ideas in my head. Concepts like fear, desolation, and the occult have a lot of influence on the sounds that I created and so the aesthetic just developed with it.
What is hell to you?
A)There are places and situations on this earth more horrid than any imaginable 'underworld' we've created our own hell right here.
What is death to you?
A)Death is just another step of a larger cycle, one that we all must take
Where do you see yourself and music in 5 years?
A)who knows, the game is crazy.. a year or so ago I'd say 'no where' but I'm getting some interesting feedback from some people in the industry, and some big opportunities opening up so anything is possible. Making a life out of this would be beautiful, but as long as I can continue making music comfortably and collaborating with the people that inspire me I'll be content.

Aloe Yoroi has started trends around the world with his mask. I knew of his aesthetic before I even found him. To find out he made music made my respect reach another level. We had to learn more about the interesting being that made aloe “cool”.
follow him: twitter soundcloud facebook What is aloe to you? A) Aloe is everything! Aloe has helped me with stomach problems in the past. (Pylori) has been good to my skin! haha my armor
The aesthetic that you created has become a trend what are your thoughts on it? A) that shit is tight and lame at the same time. It can look very cool! And sometimes people just look plain goofy haha!
Describe your music in one sentence? A) really silly but, has meaning.
How do you come up with the names for your songs A) Most these titles are legit! Like really happen but rewritten to look silly
What are your thoughts on the theory stating life is an illusion? A) its what you want to make it. if you want to think like that and waste your life wondering about what life really is. Rather than enjoying it. that's on you man.
How do you attain happiness in your life or are you still trying to attain it? A) feeding my lizards and watering my plants keep me happy.

A) Nah i'm out that mug! imma go back so i can do some computer tech shit What is a piece of art to you? A) Nature, Thick green forests. How did you begin the aloe yoroi persona(also explain what aloe yoroi means)? A) Aloe Yoroi means. Aloe Armor. "The mix stems from a handful of artists that have inspired me through out my life. Not only inspiring me musically but also inspiring me to think. This is music for you to let your mind wander in thought. Given the title "Arrival at the Final Light" personally because I'm approaching the end of my 21st year of life. I feel as if now there are no more pre assigned goal or milestone years. It is now up to you and your choices to truly create and make your own milestone years. That's the reason for the somber and bittersweet tone in all these songs. An idea that a part of your life is ending just as another is beginning. It's for anyone dealing with a final end or a new beginning in any aspect of life" -ArchAngel

imjoules , an interesting artist out of Arlington, Texas. He has a movement and has been apart of some that is pretty well known in the soundcloud scene. We wanted know about the young man who has branded his way to our screens.
1. what advice would you give to someone who's scared to follow their dreams
A: Don't be I once was scared to follow my dreams and because I overcame that fear new doors have opened up for me. your thoughts create reality let fear be the fuel to get where you want to be.
2. do you label yourself as just a rapper if not why?
A: No, because at the end of the day I'm an artist. I don't want to box myself in as just a "rapper". I want to be in movies someday, go around the world build schools, homes, etc. I want to leave behind more than my art
3. Where are you from where are you now where will you be in 5 years
A: I am originally from El Salvador a central american country located just below Mexico. I currently reside in Arlington, Texas right in the heart of DFW (Dallas Fort-Worth) In five years I plan to be out of the country hopefully retired settling down building a family. 4. Who are your favorite creators (any form of art)
A: The Animals, The Beatles, Biggie, Nas, Tupac, Gonjasufi, Derek Wise, Denzel Curry, Flatbush Zombies, The Zombies the list goes on I'm a walking iTunes..
5. tell me about Dio collective
A: #diocollective is a brand I am launching early Fall I am still in the process building the company I will announce site and model info very soon.
6. what do you think about the saying "we are our own gods"
A: I agree with the saying but I don't think its fully understood or put into the right perspective. Having our own god means there is a soul within your body or should I say your merkaba (Mind, Body & Spirit) Those that understand this can unlock the spiritual vessel and do things not just anyone can do. A lot of it has to do with your mind and how the universe works according to how things are destined to play out. As I mentioned before we are the creators of our own reality that in itself is enough to describe we we all have gods within
7. What is your next step in the creative industry?
A: I can't mention too much due to my management but I will say that my next project will be called OLA ONDA With productions from Manitee, Grimm Doza, Ab$tract, & Pe$o Piddy.
8. What is family to you?
A: Family is anyone who is close to me, people I've really connected with, people who have been there from the jump, people that still believe in me to this day, thats family. My supporters are family, too many to even consider beginning to name..
9. lastly what is the best way to open your mind so you can start creating any form of art or just bettering your life?
A: I've come to conclusions that anything you think of or create in a positive way can only turn out good.
10. what song of yours is the most appealing to you?
A: I haven't released it yet and I won't the reveal the name yet again due to management. edited and written by tutcreator
